Whats happend to the scotish teams? The U21 is even behind Moldova at the 7th place of a 8-teams-group! Never heard something from the coach, no scrimmage this week... yeah, but it's a scotish manager, you're right!

Calum did a good job at the beginning, unfortunatly the seniors lost the most important game in the season against Ukraine; cause with this draw they really had the chance for coming into the POs (Top32).

I think, if you wanna have good NTs, you need managers who are active and active community, too. Hope you'll find that soon!

Well...it's cristal clear our U-21 NT Manager doesn't care at all about our U-21 Scottish Team.
I gave him a few tips with no answer. Remember he is in the english championship...so who knows if he is scottish or not...beside the coach as you said must be active...no discussion about that. I just regret we have so few managers caring about voting and so many fake teams. I'd prefer to have a Scottish manager anyway but first of all he has to be active and having a plan in the long run to improve our NT. I just think we are losing two season with no improvements...I also have some doubts about the past election but I keep it for myself...let's hope we won't have these kinds of people running for next election.

I don't care if the manager is Scottish, English, Armenian or Martian... as long as they care about the job and put the required hours and effort in then it really doesnt bother me.

I also have some doubts about the past election but I keep it for myself...let's hope we won't have these kinds of people running for next election.

Seconded... and seconded.

I'm loving that the community has become so much more active since the last election (when only Dog voted). It's true that I wasn't involved with the community for a while. Moving to London and starting a new job had to come first, but i did all the relevant scouting and set the tactics as i saw fit. Unfortunatly, we needed a bit of luck - we lost to the teams we're ranked lower than and beat the ones below us (although we did beat a couple of teams above us!)

For the next election, im looking forward to seeing the candiates but honestly, if i think i can do a better job then them all, then i'll run again (unlikely i know).

Tough last game, but i feel we did OK overall. Had no new good youth in 2 seasons though.

I think our critic was more "against" that was happend to the U21 and their "coach" than what was with the senior team. -- but I would f.ex. like to know, where are the voters/electors who supported Rick? can we discuss together here or is just a community of 4 users?

Yep, that's my thinking.

Well, we didn't hear from Rick's supporters much during the election (in fact not at all) so I doubt they are going to suddenly appear here now. I actually wonder if they still play the game or if they were only here to vote for their mate...

The simple answer is if the small number of Scottish voters unite behind one serious candidate then what happened last election would be less likely to happen again. Seems like a shame though as we had several very capable candidates last time who were all very keen to get the job (as could be seen by the time they took to answer questions...).

Hmm. :/

I have an idea. I don't know who is active in Scotland but we could try to decide before the term who to vote. Personally I'm interested in the U-21 team so I don't think I'll run for NT election but I'd be happy to vote for an active and motivated user. I wish to avoid what happened in our last U-21 election and it's no point in wasting our vote in different candidates that won't be elected. Besides...who is interested in running should follow the forum time to time and no just appear before the election and disappear after it. So if a few scottish managers agree to vote for the same (serious) candidate this could be done. I'm waiting for some feedback...if we think it's ok we can see who is interested in running for the election and decide who to vote all together. Let's try to inform some active manager (if we are 4-5 should be enough seeing the past). Wait for some replies...if u have other ideas we can discuss them...

I think that's a pretty decent idea. Due to this being quite a small community, the election week can go by without much notice. If you coordinate a vote over time, there is much better chance of it being carried out.

I'm on the train up to Scotland now and it is mind numbingly boring...... I imagine it'll be windy and freezin when i get to kirkcaldy too.. :(

I don't know if we could discuss who we are voting for on the forum - are there any special forum rules for elections?

Anyway, I'll certainly be keeping in contact with you by BB-Mail on this issue! ;)

Are any other teams in the Scottish league reading this? What do you think?

I think we can discuss this on the NT election forum but also try to contact some managers by BB-mail. Just keep an eye on whoever seems to be active and try to get them aware on this issue...if we are 4-5 guys that shoud be enoght for the upcoming election. I'll do the same

I think this could be a problem; cause I remember that some seasons ago, I asked in a forum, if everybody is satisfied with the current NT-coach and so on... and I got a real unfriendly bb-mail from a GM, that a discussion like this is not allowed before the real voting-campaign is started.

...

If there would be a acitve communitiy, who wants, that I run again for the NT-coach... I probably would do that... but I do not wanna have a campaign like last election; when I guy won, who never posted any answer to a questions.
