Ugh, all that is moot. In real life people don't get trained solely on game minutes. All I'm saying is that if my opponent fielded a team, my player get's full training, and if my opponent doesn't, my player doesn't. Hardly seems fair.

I understand where you are coming from, but it isn't realistic if you get training minutes for your opposition's team not showing up. And it isn't something that happens often so don't worry about it too much.

Totally agree with you. It is not fair to be penalised through the actions of an opponent which are beyond your control. Whilst the realism argument is not one I wish to get into, I would add this is a game, training is a crucial component, and with the way the game structures the training I would say it is incumbent upon the developers to develop a workaround quick smart. In Hattrick you are not penalised for opponent walkovers in this way, neither should that be the case here.

You do actually know that with correct lineup you get all the minutes right?

You get all the minutes, but that is not very helpful for training.

If you are training 2 positions one walkover in a week does not make a difference. Training 3 players 1 position has a risk of failure even without the walkover.

Yeah for 2 positions it doesn't make too much difference.
But for 1 position I think it does, your reasoning is that there is always a risk of failure with 1 position training, but even with that risk of failure the player will still generally get more than 43 minutes. Most risks I have with 1 position training is winning by too much and so the player gets subbed out, but that is generally around 47 minutes onwards.

I'm just saying the tradeoff is minimal.

Can you explain to me how walkover minutes work?

What do you mean by you get all the minutes?

If you are getting minutes I don't understand why the other guy is whining so much. I was under the impression from his posts you do not get any minutes at all, which would of course be dreadful.

Starter get's 36 min, sub get's 10 min, reserve get's 2 min. I'm not going to get into how to fill the slots, but I will add that when assigning someone starter and sub he will get only 41 minutes (adding reserve to that you get 43).
If you are the winning team with correct spot assignement you get full minutes. If you are the one throwing the game you do not get any minutes.
He is misinformed?

As you can probably tell by now I haven't experienced a walkover directly.

Since you're getting your minutes I don't know what the other guy is complaining about.

What a nonsense.

The user complaints because if you are training one position, no player will receive 48 minutes in a WO, so you can't get full training for three players
