Got another basketball simulator called Court Rivals. Posted in the off topic cause it would get deleted anywhere else....

Well done. You ignored that there's already an active 92 page thread about BB in that forum If you're going to spam at least have half a brain about it...

One is a list of teams. The other is an actualy advertisement. If he tossed it onto the 92 page thread which is actively watched by already current players of BB it would have no effect. A new thread is exactly what he should do and will have the most exposure.

Chekreyes is actually making an effort. If you feel he is doing it wrong then by all means show him the "correct" way of recruiting for BB, instead of critizing from the Peanut Gallery.

You are triplely wrong. One is a discussion thread and the other is a scrimmage tournament thread, and neither is specifically an advertisement. Although they have served to entice (by my count) 20-30 new users to BB over the last few months. Anyone on that board is well aware of BB and if the cut-and-paste poster had taken 3 minutes he would have known that. Sincere word of mouth from established posters, like in our case, is infinitely better publicity that a random cut-and-paster.

However, I'm not belittling your efforts. My real concern is that the mods at CR are very generous in allowing us to use their forum for BB discussion and I don't wish for them to regret their largess with the efforts of thoughtless spammers. Perhaps taking the time to research and tailer your "spam" posts for each forum would serve to entice people. Or to only advertise in forums in which you are known and respected. IMO, cut-and-paste spamming turns people off.

Look I know about that, I used to play CR, that's actually where I got my username...0 I just thought more exposure couldn't hurt and thought it should be added to the list of forums regardless. No need to get all mad about it

Perfect Thank You.

Can we not see it because I don't have a log in or did they delete it quick? I only ask b/c if they did delete it try again in a different section and see if we can get it to stick.
