Nah height wasn't a factor. The argument was that wingmen train more secondary skills making it slower. I have been told by a few people that height doesn't affect JS.

I think the same is true for 1x1 training. Training 1x1 for forwards will train slower than training 1x1 for guards because, for the forwards, they get inside shot increases. Has anyone else noticed that or is that my imagination?

Thanks for the response, but I think you missed my point. I was saying I noticed that using the same players, that 1x1 training for guards is faster than 1x1 training for forwards because when you train 1x1 for forwards you get an extra skill increase in inside shot. Also, I do think smaller players get a slight advantage in driving over taller players and a more distinct advantage on handling. But that's just my personal observation . . .

How essential would you say driving is for big guys? All of my big guys have pretty awful driving but I primarily run Motion so I think it would help for them to be able to take passes at the key and drive inside to finish. Didn't realize it trained independent of height so I may invest a couple weeks of training in it. What do you guys think?

also read it somewhere you get more secondaries like driving etc than training JS at guards. I guess its far trade off with less JS but you dont have to play your player out of position and the secondaries balance out?

No, I mean If you need to train bigman in JS. its good to use forwards or wingman since you dont waste minutes on one of your starter assuming your trainee is a starter on guard position. theremore, more competitive and better game shape.
