Yes, but I'd suggest keeping at least some of it as a "just in case" kind of thing, like if your starting center got injured and your backup wasn't good enough to be starting in your big rivalry game that you already were worried about because it was at their arena or w/e, to pick up a player for that purpose. I know 100k won't get you much as far as a higher level, but it's better than nothing, right?

haha I suppose :P I guess I figured that even if he used all 300k on his arena he will probably get some more money on saturday. Anyway he already bought 200 bleachers so guess he can't spend all his money now anyway :P
But I think if he followed my advice he would be much better of now as he could start earning more money straight away. He ended up only spending 40k on his arena.
Oh well, everyone does things differently :)

Yeah, I agree, we all do things differently, but another thought on just spending some but not all money is, once those seats are done building and you play another home game, you can take a look and think, "hmm.. I bought 50 lower seats and now I'm not quite selling out. I know, I'll buy another 10 during my next purchase, and lower the price a dollar, and see how that works."
There's the thing, fiddling with the prices and trying to maximize your profit can be done a few ways, but i think my idea is probably best. Maybe you think yours is different, but we're only suggesting things for him :D

haha yeah these are just suggestions, it is up to him in the end.
The reason I suggested spending all the money is because at the moment he is selling out in bleachers, courtside seats, lower tier seats and luxury boxes (as he has none). So he should have built 200 bleachers, 100 lower tier, 15 courtside seats and 2 luxury boxes. That way he can get an idea of how his arena is doing in all types of seats. Because he only built 200 bleachers, he has no idea on how many of the other type of seats he can sell.

Yeah I only built 200 bleachers because I wanted them built before my next home game match so that I can earn more money. I tried building more but it said it will take more than 8 days etc so building won't be completed before my next home game match which means I will be earning the same amount of money. So I'll build little by little so that I can earn more money each time from my arena. Clever no? (or not!? :P)

Thats a sensible way to do it. That way u can see if the seats u build sell out and can adjust prices or build different types of seat accordingly.

On the other hand, you can adjust prices only three times a season and building 1000 seats at once is a very lot faster than building five times 200 seats. From this perspective you lose money.
Just wanted to point that out.

yeah, but A) he's only got 300k and
filling 1000 seats might take quite a bit longer than filling 200.
Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

He is in Div II. and his arena is very small. He can easily fill 1000 more seats. Maybe he wouldn't even need to lower his current prices. Even if so, one gains more profit with almost filling the arena at low prices than having a half filled arena with huge prices.
Okay, he has only 300k $ available now. But I assume, since he is in Div II. and his players have very low salaries he makes huge profit each week. So 1000 more seats (which was actually just a random number) is not really far away for him.
