The whole thing about doctor is very simple...Everyone should choose doctor according to:

1) his ambition (promotion, title, cup winning)
2) value of players which has to be protected from injuries

Simple like that...

If you have expensive team, few NT players, young trainees, and are chasing 1st division title and/or cup title then it is logical to spend 20k on doctor. I mean, what is 20k in comparison to above mentioned?

But still, isn't it a bit long 7 weeks. I also read on the fora that 3-7 week injuries are quite common. That means missing 9-21 games. That's a lot. Shouldn't it be a little less severe?

everyone here agrees that injuries are very often and serious...maybe this variable of BB needs a little research and comparison with real life basketball experiences...

I had a two week injury to one of my three key trainees last season. Not only did he miss the time, but he dropped two levels in stamina, thus reversing the benefit of the two weeks of stamina training he received when I first started BB.

Not good.

Players not receiving training and losing stamina cause me to lose interest in BB. If one of my three key trainees were to receive a substantial injury and set back their stamina as well as lose future training, I doubt very much I'll continue with this game.

Seeing my team improve through training is what keeps me in the game. If one of my best players were to be knocked out for eight weeks, lose stamina and not afford me the pleasure of seeing him improve through training (to say nothing of his not playing), that would bring my enjoyment of BB to a screeching halt.

Very simply, I would no longer have a reason to log-on any more.

So I wouldn't.

what about stamina. they changed the drop of stamina.

Stamina loss will now happen at a regular, set rate for all players. It will be more difficult to keep high levels of stamina than low levels, but all levels of stamina will drop much more slowly than at present.

does this mean each player loses stamina, but players who dont get enough playing time lose even more. Or does this mean everyone is now losing stamina regardless of how much they play.
I know that last season everyone needed to play at least 24min. does the news say they changed it?

If you fall in real life would you just remain lieing down then and thinking, oh well.. i might as well wait for the death here if im going to fall again someday?

Edit: shorter injuries are quite common, and longer ones can happen also, tho long injury should be related to the lenght of the season.

PS! Stamina change has chanegd the stamina drop, during 3 weeks of injury i ahven't dropped a level.

This thread needs a little UP! (who cares about arena, 2,5M transfer etc. etc.?!?)

Right now the injury system of BB is the worst I ever met in years of browser-game playing, but why am I not seeing many complains in Global (in the Italian conference the situation is clearer ;) )?

Just a pair of facts:

- Doctors have a minor (ehm ehm... if we can say so...) impact on a injury duration, regardless of the specialist level.

- In a game with three matches in a week a + 3 injury means nine lost matches, a pair of stamina & form drops, and perhaps a farewell to the national team for your god-like playmaker, even if you spend 24000 $ for your level 10 doctor... let's not talk about those + 7 which scare me in my nightmares.

I remember that in the past season a pair of BBs talked about a change of this behaviour of the game... the modification did not occur because... ???

If all other players are fine as the situation is now, sorry for this thread and good game ^^.

P.S. My players never got injured ( :P lucky guy :P) but I have seen many teams ruined by this aberration... I think that this is one of the biggest flaw in this beautiful game.

Quote Baldurlan, even if is always difficult to do that

At the moment the problem is that you're losing money, matches and if you've really bad luck also the National team. 2 players of the Italian national team were injuries, one for 10 weeks, the last one for 7 weeks, yesterday in a friendly match. It means that the owner has paid one million $ to buy the player, has spent time to train him and now he has to invest other money to find another good player paying 10k salary to the injuried player. Of course you can consider it bad luck but even in the bad luck should be possible to do something to reduce the injury time. I think that if you have a lvl 1 doctor and you've 7 weeks of injury, you'll see once again the player on the field after 7 weeks, but if you've a lvl 10 doctor and you pay for him, it should be good to reduce the injury time to 3,5 weeks. Only BB knows how much important is the doctor (and the PRs but that's another story), everyone considers the doctor not imporant simply because you can earn 2 or 3 days. At the end, that's ok to continue in this sistem but in my opinion the doctor should help us better than his helping us today.
