That's what I thought...I've read the speed training analysis and it said wingmen trains IS too, so I was training JS for wingmen for at least 10 weeks and I never got a pop...This is just great...I should have trained JS for fowards :S

So Wingmen probably get the same training as guards and Forwards get IS instead of DV & HV?

Someone in a thread somewhere said that:

JS Guards: Trains JS fastest of the three alternatives

JS Wingmen: Trains JS a bit slower but trains IS as a bonus

JS Forwards: JS slowest but as a bonus adds all of the secondary training. But a slight lower training speed at those to.

To bad i couldn't find the thread though.

However, it seems that JS for wingmen doesn't train IS at all. Which means that other skills which are trained along with JS for guards and wingmen are the same (JR, DR, HD).

all that I know is that JS for forwards trains JS, IS (4-2 ratio) and JR (very small)

Manon, I've seen this before and was not my question. My question was has anyone ever actually had an IS pop from training JS wingmen as I suspect this information is wrong....

I have gotten a IS pop training JS wingman more than once. Last season I gave my PF IS training followed by 1 on 1 F's and then cleaned it up with JS wingman..I got the JS and the IS pop after I trained JS wingman

So you're saying JS for wingmen actually trains IS as well!? That contradicts what someone said in this thread...that JS for wingmen doesn't train IS.
Well I myself have been training JS for wingmen for the past 10 weeks. One of my trainee (20 year old now) got full JS training as wingmen every week but has never popped in IS. I'm planning to train another 2 weeks of JS, but since I heard that JS for wingmen doesn't train IS, I was going to change to guards. But now that you say JS for wingmen actually train IS, I might change to wingmen again.
Is there any evidence to your statement that JS for wingmen trains IS too??? (i mean like the training record etc). I just want to make sure...

its secondaries so its really minor, you cant really hope for pops simply from secondaries training. I would take the official sticky thread's word + a more active coach's post over some random bandwagon thing that started up here.
