why is Valadez not suitable for training? he is only 24 years old.

And also, if i want another trainee, what type or what kind of player should i get?

Valadez is a bit older, but can be capped on gaurd skills. He will be a good SF but ID is a problem. Just train all 3 while you can.

If you do plan to buy another trainee:

Gaurd
max 19 y.o.
Minimum, 7 potential
Minimum skills JS 5 JR 3 OD6 DR:5 PA6 HA5
Max 6'4 height

Forward
ALl of above with 6IS 5ID 4RB 2SB

C:HA,PA needed

6IS,5RB,7ID,3SB 5HA 4DR 4PA

FOrward Min. Potential 7-8
C minimum potential 8.

These stats should be fairly close (+2 or -2)

Forward heights 6'5-6'10

C heights 6'11-7'6

What I think is the best trainee someone could get in a dream

Jimmie Stanford (Sorry if this is your name, just my example)
Center
7'6
All-Time Great potential
8641 Starting salary
Age 18

JS:7
JR:6
OD:7
PA:7
HA:7
DR;7
IS:7
ID:7
RB:7
SB:7

BEAST in a dream. Imagine someone with ALL stats (No Stamina and FT) at 15,and capped.

He sucks. Not even 7 JR and you know at his height it'll take forever to train that. Just another reason why Buzzerbeater drafts suck!

The only time you want your center shooting a three is never. You could just train U21 C,then NT PF,and then SF. It's possible. Just Very hard.

Some of the best shots are centers with decent outside shooting taking a contested outside shot against a no-OD center.

Just to make a quick comment. I saw that Hopson suggested training HA. Do not train HA. HA trains with PA, OD AND One on One. I think thats enough for HA. My first trainee ended up having something like 16 HA and I never once trained it. No need to train HA if it is a secondary training to three different trainings AND THEN there is cross training. Also I do not think JR pops enough as a secondary to JS for someone NOT to train it. I would still train JR, but just keep it 3-4 pops behind JS.
