Finishing 5th is better financially, but I'd fight for a playoff spot because winning is the fun of the game IMO.
Don't let the game play you.

You choose a longshot chance of winning one extra game in the short term over better finances to secure more wins in the long term. I choose the latter.

Players are cheap. A couple weeks of payroll savings are enough to add a good player for most teams.

Same from me (just kidding) Anyways, go for 4th and see what happens. I think it's too late for me even though I'm 2 games aheaad. Anyways, who know, you could get an easy schedule, win those, then you'll have the support of making the playoffs as well. THen, we're talking $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

What i mean by that is see whart the game is going to be like. People are now arguing to find a way to make #4 more interesing. Go to suggestions. (forum) and go to the one that says Cah Bonuses In Playoffs.

Nothing in the suggestion forum is going to suddenly appear in time for this season's playoffs which are only 2 weeks away. Changes will happen season 20th at the earliest. The OP is still far better off finishing 5th this year my friend.

I'm thinking Season 21 is when it COULD take effect. All I know is that too many people are being under-competivive. And they probably WILL do something about it. (the BBs)

It will change, we just don't know when it will......................... Maybe Season 21, it could be 22, maybe it'll take as long as season25! We just don't know when.......................................................
