I wouldn't sell out for the draft, it is expensive and unless you have a top 3 pick you are going to need a little luck as there are only a handful of decent prospects in the draft. I would focus more on the transfer list as young players with around allstar potential can be found for 30K or less (as opposed to dumping 200+K into the draft) and be built into ~30K salary player, which can be pretty solid if you build a balanced player. More than likely a MVP or Hall of Fame potential won't do much for you right now, you'll either not fulfill his potential or he wil get to expensive for you and you spend all you money for one player.

I'm spending only 10k a week on it. But in Division 5, with all bot teams, no one concentrates on the draft, so I get the best guys.

Fair enough, that is how I got my trainee at the end of S21, but he won't really break into the regular lineup until S24. Being in D5, you may find a solid contributor. But if I were you, i'd find some decent 20-22 year olds for cheap who could see the benefit of some training. Be patient though, balanced players are more salary efficient and make it easier to exploit match ups.

As long as you're putting cash into your arena expansions, that's perfectly fine.
