I would think that the main explanation is that it is so much more difficult to even reach highest division in those countries. And if you have to have high salaries only to reach top division there will be little space to have high salaries on your players.

Transfer List Statistics:
Is this their answer to the issues in this thread?

I reckon a salary adjustment would work, too. Prices of those Lebron, Jordan players would increase massively, so that they would actually be difficult to buy.

I believe this is a very good idea but rather than 10x for every player can adjust like:

0-20k 5x
21-100k 8x
>101k 5x

Something like this. After player's weekly salary increased too much its transfer list fee decrease because not many team have that economic power.

I'd rather add a cap on individual player salaries (just like NBA). A max player would only earn 200k, even if he would make 300k in an open market. That way the great players would be much more valuable.

Getting rid of the free agents would help to reduce the amount of good players. Monoskillers would still be worthless but a semi balanced 280k center with only 200k salary paid would be worth millions (rightfully so).

I like your suggestion. That would definitely solve quite a lot of problems and also make it more interesting to train players to a high level for the NT if you can even have 2-3 trainees in a division 1 team and can still sustain their salary ...

I like this suggestion too.

I wonder arguments there are against it... It might encourage training AND tanking?

I think tanking should be accepted as a strategy to play the game. By giving up a good position by free will, you give some other team the chance to move up and be successful.

Another positive effect of capping individual salaries would be, that farm teams now become unnecessary, as almost every team will be able to afford and use a max player.
