I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to call you out. I love baseball.

The problem is not they earning money... It's about they earning money and the ones who fight for the championship or even the one who wins it, can't make significant profit( I dare to say that most of them just earn the necessary to sustain every week).

Maybe I didn't make myself clear earlier... Don't focus in the "tanking" part, let's make it more general...
In real life, how is it possible that the ones taking all the glory have to deal with no significative income and the ones with no success takes it all??

Just think about that for a minute.

So... you want to win, AND get the better of the financial situation.
That's... a little greedy.

I have no problem at all with a team choosing to tank. It's something that *really* happens... sometimes you have to lose to accrue assets.

I prefer to call it rebuilding on the fly rather than half tanking, but it's the only way to compete at the top level consistently. Thankfully, I've only had to do it twice in 18 top flight seasons and won the relegation playoff both times.
Roster renewal is a massive challenge in this game - at all levels.

I prefer to call it rebuilding...
So does the NBA: "What is going on is rebuilding. [...] There’s an awful lot of chatter out there in the land and I continue to hear the ‘T’ word." -Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA.

You buy players with cash, you 'rebuild' to save cash, which doesn't vary much.

You don't tank in European Soccer to get a better Economy. You tank if your economy sucks and you can't afford to reinforce your team.
None of the teams WANT to relegate - revenue is so much lower at the second level, that often times even the last place finisher in Div.I will have more revenue than the winner of D.II.

Lyon is the exception to the rule.
