Personal experience, i've been here sice S3. in S4 was the first draft with potential and i have invested 10k-20k/week since then.
The better proof you can get is to pay close atention from now on to the draft. Sadly I've lost all my SS from drafts during a PC formatting (don't know if "formatting" it's the correct word)

P.S. Sublevels DO exist in potential.

Back when I first started playing for the first time in season 11, my first draft I drafted a superstar, who I'm about 80% sure was a 5-ball in potential.
(13186621) is the guy. I was talking about. I got a second really good player from that draft who was a ball lower in potential...
(13186617) was a ball lower in potential, so either I got a PA from 3 or a superstar from 5...

I've never heard of it, and I am with you. I think he is just mistaken. We all agree that there are sublevels with potential, but 5 ball potential has always been MVP+ and I have never ever seen a case where a Superstar was 5 ball potential or a MVP was 4 ball potential. If someone comes up with some solid proof to show us otherwise, cool, but I have never seen this to be the case.

Keep a close eye on the draft, not only your players nor your league Draft.
If you get, let say, an MVP with 4 ball potential, don't get to excited he's just an MVP (low).

Sadly i am not investing in this years draft because I already have my trainees. Do you have any examples or proof tat this is actually a thing? In my opinion this would have come up multiple times by now in the help forum or bug forum, but after never seeing it and searching through the forums for something like tis and finding nothing, I think you are just mistaken. Surely there must have been a couple angry managers who got a Superstar when they had a 5/5 player while scouting that would have complained and posted about something like this before if this was true, but I see no proof anywhere to support your argument.

Personal experience in both ways, sadly i not longer have the Screen Shots of the ball potential.
You can think whatever you want.

Some post back one managers say the same than me.

The next time you plan to invest in draft just pay attention, the best way to learn it's from experience.

I've been keeping pretty close track of my drafts (the ones I spend draft points on), and I have never seen a 5 ball potential superstar. I really only have solid data for 6 seasons worth of drafts. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am saying that I've never seen it.
