I had a basic and this season the ticket sales really tumbled and the merch income was wanting, but with a change to a 3 with only about 3k extra salary coupled with a warm streak has helped tremendously, merch went from mid 24 to 32 so that in and of itself justifies the means, and a slight dip downward on tickets should actually beef up the attendance for the stretch run and give me a little more scratch. Between the specialties I think national appeal is the more useful, especially come playoff time.

National appeal specialty is generally better if you are interested in revenue, as losing road games hurts home game revenue. If the specialty wins you one road game, it can mean some money. If you're one of the weakest teams in your league, crowd involvement is a better choice, since between home field advantage and crowd involvement, you might steal a few games you probably deserve to lose. The best reason to pick up a crowd involvement specialist is if you will have HFA through the playoffs. Any extra edge that'll help you promote...

This is pretty much an educated/wild guess. Nobody knows fo sho.
