Injuries suck big time and should not exist in this game, doctors help to avoid them, though. I always have a doctor level 5 and usually i get an injury of 1 week per season in average (rough estimate). Of course the injury last season stroke in the playoff finals, i had to play the whole final series without my starting SF, glad i made it apart from that, if it was some other more important player and i had lost i would have probably abandoned the game.
I have a level 4 for my utopia team and injuries happen a bit more often but nothing that had left me completely outraged. At least not yet. So if you don't have a decent doctor hire one, it's the only thing you can do to avoid those stupid and demotivating injuries (because, you know, the number of managers of this game is increasing week by week, you shouldn't care if managers demotivate, let the injuries destroy their plans and piss them off).

It debatable whether they do or not. I've seen long injuries even with level 5 and 6 doctors. I have a level 4 and I got a 2 week injury to a trainee in the scrimmage on Thursday.

Most people are under the impression that the frequency of injuries is lower with better doctors, but it's impossible to quantify without a massive statistical study. I think the BBs might just come out and say what the difference really is such as -x% chance of injury, -x% chance of injury being longer than 1 week etc.

When will the BB's actually come out and say something? I don't want to sound demanding, but if the BB's can say it, why won't they?

I understand the injuries system to be close to the reality. But to be even more realistic, we should be able to pay optional insurance to cover the injured players' salaries, as it works in real life.
Each manager would be proposed to subscribe or not an insurance at the beginning of each season. We could imagine different levels of insurance, i.e.5K per week provides protection up to 50K salary, 10K per week up to 100K... etc.
What is your opinion ?
