my "C" has JS18 and JR 14

i played patient because i wanted him to shoot every time. he did!
opposing C with 160k salary fouled out in 14 min. while his reserve with 140k salary did not do any better.

final stat line for my shooting big 16 - 25 FG; 4 - 7 3ptFG; and 10 - 11 FT. he was unstoppable. from following the game i can assure you my plyaer's points came from jump shots, maybe 2 or 3 layups.

i was waiting the entire season to spring this on my opponent. I have vast experience with this tactic, but never had the proper secret weapon. not a secret any more. :-)

It's a really amazing stat line, only because I'd suppose you had at least one good shooter at 1-3 positions; my bet would be that the engine bypasses the great match-up at C/PF and goes for the best shooter at PG, SG or SF.

What's your SF and PG like? They didn't shoot all that much.

I can assure with with several past games that there is no bypassing when it comes to patient.
the game seeks out the greatest missmatch. MY PG and SG were going up against what i can assure you was 18 OD each.
my SF had weak outside shooting so he did not count.
my PG had 31 JS+JR
My SF had 36 JS +JR

i repeat. the only tactic i can vouch for is patient.

oh no, I should have bid more on him. You won him

to be honest he was not worth that much more. he is good at shooting but weak at defense. and has an immense salary.
he fouled out in game 1 and had 5 and was benched most of game 2.

he is a situational player. with my team and another top team in england he averaged 13 PPG. that is too little for that salary. and patient can backfire very badly. while no normal person would ever predict a patient tactic, a 3-2 would do the trick and would kill your offence. while 2-3 zones do little against inside tactics, the 3-2 ones are murder for outside tactics and patient, mostly because the offense adapts less over the course of the game.

my other big man has 13JS and 8 JR. when i played motion, the big men were less effective. i think it is more useful to go with an individual bassed attack when you are all but sure of the missmatch as opposed to a team oriented attack.

he has 2 NT players at sought after postitions. SG and SF.

those were raw power players. while he paid alot for them i was quit confident that they may have 8 or 9 ID, maybe even 10, but not more. which for my attack with my player was clearly not enough. the sad part is that i will wait literally another season to spring this surprise on anyone again.

Thanks for your feedback
18 15 is a lot for a Center, and its not enough to make it really worth on any tactic other than Patience. Overall, I don't see 3pt specialists Centers as a thing

Uhh how much weight do you put on type of league? If little then I would like to point out my guy Labbe (30906202). More specifically his finals performance. But At a quick glance the times I went outside this season he shot, for BB standards, a nice amount of 3s(about 2.5 a game by my half butt calculations) coming off the bench.
I'm sure the others probably analyzed more than me so take it with a grain of salt.

Also could experience factor into their willingness to take 3s?
