BOSNIA BATTERS BABY BOKS 126-59

Lebohang Mbata scored 31 and Fabian Pöll added 10 but it was no where near enough as the RSA fell to 0-2 in the competition with a thud as Bosnia breezed to a 126-59 victory. "Well that is the Bosnia I knew was out there, and it was what it was. There is a reason Twitter world is aflutter with talk of that team being a dark horse to take the cup and that is because they are outstanding" Coach quipped afterwards. "One misstep I noticed when breaking down the box score was that Toyana was actually available. I donk think it changes the overall outcome, but it would have been nice to have had him in his proper place. But that is on me." Next up is Canada "another fine, highly ranked club. But we will come at them best we can. Competing in a world cup for a micronation is always a learning process and we are getting a hard knocks education. But in the end we will be better for it. To the managers thanks for staying positive and keep plugging along"

CANADA CLIPS SPRINGBOKS 98-81

Fabian Pöll led four books in double figures and the fired up books hung tight until well into the final period before succumbing 98-81. " That was a great effort but Canada has quite a club. It would have been nice to get the win, but we made progress out there and brighter days are ahead." Said coach Lambini.

SPRINGBOKS THUMPED ON LAST TWO WORLD CUP TILTS

"That was a long hard road to travel. But we are better for this in the long run" Coach Lambini said in the aftermath of the final world cup group match against Taiwan (a 128-73 defeat) this came on the to heels of a Israeli air raid the previous week that resulted in a 165-101 roughi itng up for the baby boks. Fabian Pöll continued his outstanding play but again the RSA just lacked the fire power to stay with two vastly superior opponents. " It was a great honor to compete in the cup. I hope in the future we can better represent the nation. But there is still something left to play for in this season. As you may have heard I am organizing a eponymous titled challenge for those knocked out of WORLDS and the consolation tourney's. This is gathering steam as this competition will be geared in such a way to maximize competitiveness. I don't plan on making this a cakewalk, but I do think it is going to be a lot of fun for the teams who participate to knock heads with others of a truly similar ilk.
