This just here is my point exactly

Why should he all of a sudden be a worse shooter because it’s the playoffs ?
If you look at my match ups with the exact same guy during the reg season, he scored 44 and 25 points both while shooting a high percentage
How in the world is this my ‘mistake’ when he has a bad game now ?
Again, something to do with the playoffs being a different game

For the 3rd time, my players did NOT have bad GS for the playoff game
I didn’t change my line up for Thursday game because there is simply no point. Hence my players playing huge minutes and having bad GS at this current point in time
I should not have to state this again but going by the current replies, I have no doubt that I will have to

Prediction didn’t effect this game in particular but it does in general.

His stamina is proficient so I don’t think the 81 mins should have mattered a whole lot. He’s one of my players who is normally always Proficient in GS
Even in the second game though, scored 25 on 10/13 shooting against ying ming (the guy he bought)
So obviously had some sort of edge during the season which completely vanished in the Playoffs
I get that he probably took more shots due to my PF’s injury, which is frustrating but 9/27? 🥴

However I understand your points and they’re obviously something to consider moving forward.

I’ll make a post about the prediction aspect tomorrow. I get why it’s placed there, I just don’t agree that it should have such a massive impact on results and I believe a simple fix would be adjusting Inside offence effectiveness instead of a guessing system
But each to their own

Glad we could end up chatting about this in a civil manner

This wasn’t a post to simply ask for improvements - rather rant about specific aspects and point out frustrations which aren’t only from this season alone.
So I guess the suggestion is to get rid of a guessing system and fix the overall balance of tactics if that’s the reason it’s there

Not sure why you insist playing R&G. 22 games with R&G??? I mean I think even the team in England who set all lineups at the beginning of the season didn't play 22 times the same tactic.

The teams in your league look all very mediocre, more like D3 level than D2, including the guy in your conference who beat you twice and had a correct double GDP both times. GDP is part of the game and if you refuse to counter it by at least mixing 2 tactics, then you should at least build a team and use it to your advantage. For example, in D2 I have 78 OD in my PG+SG+SF plus my PF also has high OD: against good teams (and there are a few teams over 570k and 580k salary in my D2 league, that's 100k more than I have) I do GDP inside by default. I basically dare them to play something else other than LI and LP and if they do, I know I have more than enough OD for them to be miserable even with the missed GDP, not to mention that by playing outside or neutral they will get fewer rebounds and FTs.

We all play with the same GE. You had a slight advantage in that game (5.9 v 5.3 DMI, 381k v 372k salary) that basically vaporised with him using more effort. The injury did the rest.

Honestly, I used Run and Gun all season because I knew Yarra Park Bears always guesses tactics so I wanted him to guess that I’d play Run and Gun whilst actually running a different tactic come the Semi Final
Obviously I didn’t get the chance to do that and now it looks stupid but the initial plan was to fool him in playoffs

Maybe something like a 17-17-17 for starters and 9-9-9 for subs ? 💁🏽‍♂️
