On the flip side, BB players can only play 2 games a week without taking huge GS penalties. This is a very light load by NBA standards. Many aspects of BB are unrealistic, but that doesn't always mean there's a problem.

Regarding roster size, larger rosters currently have the advantage of being more resistant to injuries and foul outs. They're also able to balance competitiveness in league and cup play, while maintaining good game shape. Their only weakness is that in must win games, top-heavy 5 man teams can beat them.

Like I said before, if you change this and weaken 5 man teams, then you're eliminating part of the strategy. Just get 8 good players and you're set for the league, cup and B3.

Another problem with this is that larger, deeper rosters are usually more expensive in terms of salary, so we may go back to a situation where it's the richest team who always wins in B3.

Well i have experienced (as NT coach) significant increase in foul tendency of various players trying to train! Is this change in GE towards short rosters?? If so, this is again BB-ish decision. Very lame.. Player that was not foul trouble for 3 seasons suddenly cant make 48mins due to fouls.. 2 games in row.. And there is more like that i am being notified by our managers!

May I have a look at those players? I'm interested in these things.

lets start with these 2. One is mine, one is our NT future prospect. It started january 21st. Especially mine is very very suspicious. But also young prospect wasnt acting like this before - he had 3,5f/g, now he is ca 12/g!!!

No surprise about the second one. He has played with 4 players much stronger than him his 2 last games; in that situation the GE targets the weakest player. That has always been like that, I lived myself some seasons ago. In his 4 first games he has played 2 times with very weak teammates so it was easier for him to "survive". In the 2 other ones, when he made only 3 fouls he has defended on the weakest opposite player.

It has always been very difficult to train a young player with much stronger teammates around him, it's not new. I'm 100% sure there's no link with the new GE.

and how about mine, the first one? suddenly 3 times more fouls than usual.

S51: 12 times 40+min games = never fouled out
S50: 13 times 40+min games = 1 time fouled out
S52: 5 times 40+ min games = never fouled out
S52: last 2 games = both fouled out

So for me if you do something 30 times and only 1 time you fail, you are pretty good becose you succeded 96,67% of times. Now if you fail twice in row, that is something unusual that makes you think. It might be just very little sample that keeps your average value correct, but it might not as well. And that is something i was asking if someone else experience too. since january 21st his numbers are above his averages, and not a litlle. This player is 3,2 fouls / 48 mins in his life.
