Just a quick evaluation.

This round's objective is definitely qualifying, that should not be a problem. However, I will try to finish as high as possible, since future rounds will depend on how we place here.

There are 3 other teams that can create problems for us, not 2 as previously evaluated by somebody else. Those are Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina. Even though I'm confident we can win games against them, a TIE or normal vs a CT might throw results the other way. I don't think there is a reason for them to CT, they should be able to qualify without it, but you never know.

I'd like to make a friendly request to all owners that have players in Canadian NT.

I don't want to be a drag and to ask you to change the way your team should play in order to accommodate the interests of the national team, but do you think that you can play your star player somewhere between 48 and 80 minutes a week in order to avoid drops in game shape? That would be a real benefit to the NT, and to your own team as well.

Again, I don't mean to tell you what to do, but I would appreciate if he would be able to play at his best

Thank you in advance, let me know what you think.

I try to do it but with 4 games per week( with BBB) , it's not easy.
For your information, Romero has playing 86 minutes this week , he will not play tonight in cup.

After today's training, this is what I read on one of our NT players:

Game Shape: inept

What a waste!

When you added him, you already had the information that he played 121 minutes in week 1. Obviously, managers shouldn't do that, but they have their own priorities and attention levels (Caron's manager is also letting a monster draft pick rot).

Yes, I knew that he played too much the previous week, but I still preferred him because of stats, instead of adding a different player, hoping he will improve in game shape. So far he didn't.

I know managers have their own priorities but this can't possibly be good for his team either. I did message the owners that overplayed their players, in the hope that their game shape will be watched, some of them replied with good feedback.

I really hope Lionnel Tassé comes back from his 1 week injury before the game, or I will have to recruit the 14th player (not really looking to do that before even the second game in

That being said, we are not in a bad shape, next game is not a very tough one, we are in high spirits and we will continue to improve. The other good thing for us is that results in first round don't carry over to the next round and 4 teams qualify, that virtually already assuring us to make it through to the next round. Because of the fact that the place we finish in group don't matter for the next round, our first objective is not necessarily to finish first, but to have the highest possible enthusiasm (and still qualify). We might be able to achieve both, but that is not the main concern.

All understood, I'm just trying to nudge you into recalibrating your hopes for managers of NT players to act rationally.

As far as adding a 14th player, definitely weigh the gain you get from having a 12th man in good game shape versus the cost of reduced future roster flexibility.

Yes, that's my plan as well. Might even start the game with 11 players if need be

We are facing a 3 weeks injury (true not on our most important players.

On a different front, Romero, our start Center, currently ranked #1 in the world seems to have achieved his full potential (all star) and doesn't seem to respond to training anymore. FYI
