My point is that you can't say "that was just an example," as though I am picking on an insignificant point, unless you have more scenarios that apply.

Who said anything about me being good? I said that if you are up against a guy in the playoffs with as good a team as yours who managed to get there with more enthusiasm, then he planned his season better than you did. How did you decide that I was actually saying that I am "that good" instead?

ie. in one conference you have one strong team and seven lousy teams, while in other you have 4-4 situation, so those team would have to put more effort and in the end are wunerable and will lose from that one team that hasn't put same amount of effort just because he has more luck with opponents.

This is a scenario, and that has nothing to do with planning better or whatever, as u can see.

The 1-7 will ALWAYS be in advantage, and that's not good for the game.

There. Was it really so hard to provide another example?

Let me ask you this. If this was real basketball and that was the scenario - would you not agree that the team which won the easy conference would have an advantage in the finals?

Why does he need to work to prove your point?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score

Surprise is something that happens all the time when it comes to sports... without surprising results, the game just become mechanic and boring.

while i agree with the concept, if you can't see surprising results in BB maybe you should check the "OMG how i lost this match" thread which is somewhere in that forum

But we have one thing that there isn't in NBA. I mean, promotion.
If the best team in the worst conference has an advantage to promote, then the difference between conferences will be bigger each season.

That is not necessarily the case at all. For one thing you have a demoted team taking its place. You also have teams being demoted and being replaced by teams from lower leagues that are potentially better than the ones demoted.

Your concern is limited in scope and is a relatively short term problem.
