Same happened to me in the game there. Unfortunatley he did foul out by half time. lol.

It's all about hidden 'toughness' rating. (on top of stamina and defence of course)

Right. I indeed know of the hidden ratings, but he has never done this before. He has never even fouled out before.

So my question remains, has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Perhaps the BBs could tell me it was just the gravitational pull of the moon, or an anomalous rift in the space time continuum?

This will happen from time to time with every player. Marcum (the face of BB yesterday) has a low physicality trait and rarely picks up fouls, but he has had a few games where he has started and played less than 5 minutes due to foul trouble - and usually matching up with a far inferior player. I have no explanation other than unlucky roles of the dice.

Yes, I have a starter who averages .7 fouls per game who recently fouled out just after half. He was guarding one of the best offensive players in my series, and he picked up 4 shooting fouls in the first.

Sometimes the Earth causes eclipses on other planets that creates a gravitational field which tends to warp game engines across the net. It's freaky, man.
