Actually, I'd put the money issue simpler.

Lower division teams have a lower income. $10k per scrimmage would represent a higher percentage of their weekly income than it would for a higher division team. And since weekly payroll is usually lower for lower division teams, the scrimmage income would go a longer way to covering costs. So even a straight up 50/50 split of the intake goes further in lower divisions than higher divisions.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

I have to agree that this is a point and nice idea how to help lower divs to catch up higher ones, cause 10k in div 1 makes no difference but it makes huge difference for div 4 teams. If we are thinking about long term planing.

Lets say Div III plays against III: x amount is split 50/50 Div II against IV: 70/30. Div I against V 90/10

Fantastic proposal...

Sometimes I wonder why so many sugestions "change for a sake of change" appears just before end of season when BBs obviously don't have much time because of draft etc. Oh I see 25% of teams don't play competitive games. And some can't wait till their list of draftees is available and ovethink meanwhile...

Of course it can.

There are a lot of suggestions that appear in the offseason when a lot of teams have time on their hands to think about things.

Most of them wont be implemented, and those that may be implemented wont be implemented in the near future.

It's a long process to make sure it's done right.

add:

and BBs need gap of time to test everything cause otherwise majority of users will be angry and shouting if some of those will come to live unfinished...

Ofcourse 'it' can, but how does he know the topicstarter is doing 'it' because of bordem.

Like i said, its speculation and not necessary for the discussion. And if LA doesnt like these times of year, because of a bigger change like topics as this one, dont check them out. Dont mingle in the disccusion and start spuwing post like his last one. Just stay away if you dont like these topics

C'mon man, you are GM, you should know better.

Know better as to what?

People are allowed to speculate on issues if they so choose as long as they follow the forum rules.

So im allowed to 'spoil' a discussion, once in a while, just for the sake of 'fun', or whatever other reason LA had, by speculating that the topicstarter was bored and therefore opened the topic?

edit: Specially when i first mingle in the discussion on a normal way and suddenly switch 180 degree and totally think different about the topic subject..

PS, im not here to be the annoying guy, i just really dont get it that this is accepted as 'normal behavior'. Specially because he could have stayed away, or not started to discuss.
You said it yourself, there are 100 topics like these around midseason time. Everybody knows that. So what point is LA trying to make to say something like that in the middle of the discussion? And for all i know, the topicstarted was not bored...Im in the Semi-finales, also discussing in this topic, and wasn't bored..

It doesn't work like that. If only those who likes changes, more changes, no matter what would post and all would agree it could make BB men more willing to consider those changes just because "people want it". That's why being enthusiastic about not so good and unbalanced suggestion (matter of taste of course) is potentially dangerous and everyone has right to post as negative post as he/she wants.
Edit:typo
