I find PG's are also expensive to buy. There are always a lot of SG's on the market but u have to really pay for a great passer.

It can be done. I made a couple of GFs while training Shortall and another handy SF at the time.
You just need the blokes around your trainees to cover up the weakness really well .... and good tactics of course.
Certainly easier now that you can play a different defensive position to the offensive position selected.

Who said they were all starting out as trainees? I would have thought everyone is training at least 3 players in the same position. Sure some weeks one will miss out a bit for team balance but for the most part 3 will get training.

cause if not you cant afford to buy them... so expensive... 2m for an incomplete SF that still need 2 season or more work and still have flaws..

Bit surprised I still managed to get away with a win tonight considering all my recent trading. Didn't think HCA was worth 15pts up against Hag's lads. A win I will gladly put in the bank! :-D

I've now managed to clear up some serious salary cap space and got rid of on old backup. Interesting times ahead!

It is so hard to modify your team at this stage of the season while the cup is still on and you need every player you have. It is easy to just get someone but to get the right player with the correct mix of primaries and secondaries takes time. Sometimes weeks unless you have a big budget and are willing to overpay. Well done.

Well done because I've managed to cash on other people's desperate needs?

Tbh I was quite concerned as to what I was going to do with Sapsay. After a season of training him at C along with my two trainees, his salary was going to sky rocket. I was very happy to get the price that I did for him and imo he wasn't that flash anyway. He was just a basic IS/ID/RE C that just about every man and his dog seems to have these days. Figure it won't take long to train up a replacement, meanwhile I can save loads of cash and wait for boosts for the other gaps in my roster.

I think this move puts me in a far better position than I was in, it's just going to take a little longer to get to where I want to be.

No chance we will think you aren't super dangerous. There are at least seven teams this season with a chance to win it all and you are clearly one of them.
