or maybe he just got ripped off when he bought Fatur? haha It sure seems that way when looking at my players estimates.

Player value will always be based on supply and demand...obviously there is way too much supply at the moment...imo they would be better off letting all players from bot teams disappear and scrap free agency
There is no demand for players with 180k salaries because the only teams that could afford to keep them (safely) are top division teams...maybe they should bridge the financial gap between the top and lower divisions a little so everyone wants similar players? Or as someone else said, scale back the wages of players...at least then there might be a point to getting players with hall of fame or all time great potential

It looks like its easier to afford better players for weaker teams...but it really is just a trap for lower div teams to buy someone they cant afford...and yeah with the market how it is any promotion bonus is too much...

Think I've just repeated alot of what others have said :-P

I cant even sell a 130k PG for 1.5m where a season or 2 ago, a PG like that would be worth 2m. now TL estimate is only 1m or so, oh how the market has crash.

hopefully the market for Sfs dont crash as well as i am just starting to train them.

by the time they are ready to sell they might well be worth 10 mil such is the unpredictable nature of the TL

Cause no matter what happens there will be winners and losers. The market is not something we can predict but there are trends based on the demand and supply of players.

Its hard to make a decision on these things because there are just so many opinions flying around and you can never keep everyone happy.

My idea was not so much about running a popularity poll to decide on cures for the game, it was was one of my left field management ideas to give the people who play the game the opportunity to feel like they have a bit of ownership of it and are listened to.

Who knows such a poll might also unearth some great ideas like the one Whitebeard suggested with the polls.

Perhaps even put up some supporter memberships for the best 3 or 4 ideas.

Bit of luck our local GM might even recommend me for one for suggesting this

$ 1 275 000 for a 28 year old who is suppossedly the best power forward in the world

Credit to CCat in that with all the horror stories of teams losing millions on recent sales CCat only lost half a mill on this transaction

If Id known well in advance that he was going to be sold I would have made room for him in my roster and financials.

180k a week sure and hes been known to foul a bit, but surely he would have added 30k to a teams merchandise sales

Surprised me that Koops or no one in the ABBL went after him.

Then again I guess if you compare him to Vuk, who costs 101k less a week?????

I guess if Liang Huaizheng is going to have his game shape stuffed up by his new manager, it might help Duffman get the Aussie singlet he deserves

Yep, Duffman was estimated 4M then 3M, then 2.5M, then 1.9M and now 1.4M. If you are a smart manager, you would have seen the first drop and reacted to the second then buy back similar at 1.4M. the way I see it, it would make managers make better decisions when buying on the market and deter day trading.

You can count on Duffman to have the perfect game shape every week lol

Told you mate last year that the prices were continue to fall. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep falling although it looks like Buzzerbeater is there abouts in one full cycle of players that were trained properly from scratch. So it should reach equilibrium soon if the BBs stop playing government and interfering with the markets. Although I reckon they need to interfere and fix the low price monster wage players...

Lol. Now we will have two full teams of free agents hit the TL in 6 or 7 weeks time to continue to drive the market down.

Classic case of SF's holding their value, even in times of economic crisis.
