Doubt it for our U21 team. Dunno if it was worth the money or not, this economy is doing some crazy things but at this point in the season that's basically a 19 year old and his stats just aren't good enough for a national team.

Could still be a decent player for your team with some training though :)

Thought I better post, just to let everyone know we've being in contact and with the strong draft class coming through DireWolf is spot on that some intense training is needed and even then it will be very difficult.

As for the value, well like once again DireWolf said that the economy is very inflamed at the moment, but i'm starting to see it come down which is good making our money more valuable. So in this current state I dont think that the price you paid is too bad but if the economy recovers before you sell him he might sell for less.

Anyways this is an 21's chat forum thingo and not an economy thing, which I suck at anyways lol.

Edit: my retardness, trying to make things make sense.

this week i am training Jump range, and i am almost sure he is going to pop in his jump shot because it had like 4 weeks of one on one forwards training and hasn't popped yet.

i just want to know how my training has been going for him, i am thinking of a pop in passing this season, and just want to know how you think i should train him as if he was a u21 prospect.

not to sure but i think his outside def is way to low for him to be a under 21's player

Yeah he def needs to see big increased in his D and passing to be considered. Single position training is the key to speedy improvements in these areas but it will mean playing him at PG for a full 48 mins each week. You need to weigh up weather that is in the best interests of your team or not but it will help make rapid improvements in your players skills

Hey Everyone,

Update for everyone not on the offsite forum and if your not and Aussie I suggest you get on at www.bb-stats.org/forum - for access to the Australian Forum register then bb mail myself with your username and I will give you access.

Anyways back to the update. We came second in the second chance qualifiers for the Worlds, which means we miss out on the big comp. Chile beat us and then never lost a game from there, which put us second. If I’m not mistaken we go into the runner up's tournament with the likes of Germany. I am happy with how far we got considering our talent pool. The most impressive thing I've seen though is the passion and dedication that has emerged from the Australian community within the last 2 season. A lot of managers are supporting the U21 and National team's which is fantastic. A lot of managers are also looking to train new players to get them into the team, which has produced an influx of very good talent.

Just like to say thanks to everyone that has helped get this team to where we are today.

Also I have been getting a lot of BB mails and unfortunately I seem to read them whilst half asleep and think to myself I'll go and investigate reason for the mail and reply back the next day, but I forget.

If I don't reply to your bb-mail within a certain period of time, please just keep harassing until I do.

Thanks

Cheers

Hi Brooksy,

If you go onto the offsite forum you can compare your own players to those of the players on the national team to get a fair idea.

Due to the team always turning over players the requirements can change every season. But as a basis I would follow these guides:

PG: Total of 66 over top six skills with emphasis on OD, Passing, Handling.
SG: Total of 66 over top six skills with emphasis on OD, JS, JR, DR and Handling
SF: Both OD and ID total of 20+ then well rounded out.
PF: Well rounded out with total of 44 for the 4 big man skills and 9+ for JS.
C: Total of 50+ for big man skills plus well rounded out.

This is only a guideline and will often change in the future due to the variety of players coming through each draft class.

I also have the auto message thing on for players that fit a salary requirement, but this tool is very limited as it only goes by players salaries and not overall skill levels.

Hope this answers your question and ask more if your still unsure.

Thanks
