I'm glad I could be of use. Out of curiosity, what made you look at my roster?
Well, I decided I'd have a look at some of the Div II teams that not only knew what they were doing, but were runn ing a successful Div II roster that had the best chance of making the ABBL. You were 5-2 when I analysed your rster. You had:
Zografidis, Rohtla, Saar, Droste, Mohamad, Dilay, Perez, Laxos, Heles, Canudas
That was $446k of roster that cost you $8.53 mil. The average age of that roster was 27.6 years.
I was playing close attention to the salaries of players in their positions and trying to, through the amounts you paid, get an idea of their skill sets in comparison to salaries etc
I was trying to work out what roster size was big enough to run in relation to arena; what good players cost (and by good I mean good enough to play as top DIv II team); what could be achieved age wise so that you didn't arrive in the ABBL with 8 x geriatrics and could use some as starters...most as backups...;
I guess I just identified your team as a great mix and a solid model to base my future Div II team off. Now that you've gone on to win and make ABBL I feel vindicated in my research lol So...thanks lol
Good luck next season mate. I know you've already stated that you might not stay up but I'm selfishly hoping you go for it with many of the players you've got so I can can get a glimpse of the next levels to aim for.
