@Pro_Shot: Since we don't have a graphic designer in our team, we opted to buy a pack of already developed graphics from a well known site. Quite possible they did the same.
A long term road map is not possible at this time, since we're still training new devs and have had some setbacks with it so far, making things increasingly unpredictable.
@O Bear: They are planned as purely aesthetic. That might change though, or it might be a bit of this and a bit of that. So, not set in stone...
@Sakiz105: 1. The design change is immediate.
2. No, if you buy a different design, you have to pay full price again. I guess the reasoning could be that by changing the arena design, you have to demolish the old one.
@RiP: I actually noticed that and prepared a fix, but never applied it somehow. Thanks for letting me know, it should be visible now.
I see what you mean with the double-edged sword with that such financial investments could lead to in BB, and I think we found a nice balance to it. We've tried to set it so that investing a lot too soon would actually be a bad move for a new team, as the money would be better spent elsewhere and could actually bring more revenue in the long run, old teams that had already passed the initial growing stage, could opt for a "invest now, harvest later" strategy. Or not, it up to them. I believe this is not a bad thing for a long term game like BB. Also, I don't think anyone who plays a game like this can't wrap their heads around concepts like this.
@Platano: I agree. We cannot, however, just keep adding features to the tactics page and ignore the rest, a balance must be made. And yes, the GE is the heart of this game and it won't be forgotten.
@Burkeliinoo: The answer to that is in the initial post - it's up to you to figure it out. Yeah, it's risky, but which investment isn't?
@JoeMaverick: No way to downgrade other than to pay again full price for a cheaper design.
@Samusaran: We did initially plan to limit the availability of arena designs to teams that had the corresponding seat numbers, but due to the fact that most of these arenas don't really look that much different seat-capacity-wise, it made no sense visually and, a more important reason, an argument could then be made that a (potentially!) lucrative long term investment is only available to already rich teams and it would enable them to separate out from the others further.
@brambauti: Your post is very hard to read or understand. What I gathered from it is that you're not happy with this and would like us to do something that will instantly turn around the user drop, is that correct? I'm afraid, it's not as simple as you make it seem, we'd love to have millions of users, why not? But, there is no magic way of doing this that we know of. Feel free to give suggestions.
@SiriGram: 1. to be honest, some of them have been converted from other sports to basketball. Others have been open even though initially made for basketball. So go figure, I've no idea and was wondering that myself.
2. A good observation - I've now increased travel length of each click threefold.
Also, I understand the rest of your post - but we can't just start developing major things like the phone app with a very young dev team - we need time to grow. The other option is to hire an outside firm to do the app development for us - something which has proven too expensive so far. Haven't given up on it though, still looking for possible way of making it without breaking the bank.
@orlikcesarski (post no.98): There are no free lunches in BB! So no, once you buy one arena, you can't switch for free later on, even if you bey Supporter.
@ned: if you buy an arena while being a Supporter, it will remain even if the Supporter runs out. Might give some incentive to people for buying Supporter, even for a short while
@Ubiond (post no.101): We'll consider adding a show/hide option in the profile page.
@Everyone else: thanks for the feedba
