tanking and rebuilding is far less easy than it seems. You have to plan years (IRL, not seasons) ahead, and know what training plan you'll have to make very dominating players emerge at the very same time, all while getting loads of money to fill in the inevitable gaps. If it was easy, AmenRa (Joe, Q, whatever) would have some kind of competition.

I'm not saying it's easy, I'm saying it's the easiest way to do it ;)
My "dream" for going all-in with a full Belgian team was made so long ago I can't even remember it. So no it's not just an impulsive decision of me.

please don't get mad, I absolutely don't want to be mean, but : if you had an overstuffed trophy room that would be quite the challenge trying to achieve what you're doing. But it takes a huge step to reach a Finals, let alone win it (which in an even greater step indeed). When you'll consistently reach Finals, you'll be able to win some - then try fancy stuff. Why do that the other way round ? You have reached a momentum with your team, it's time to give it the little extra it needs to write you team's name in Belgian BB's history book

Not mad at all, I understand your point of view. I could have done the same thing Mizu is doing now, but I would just have been "one of them". I'd rather be the guy that accomplished something for the first time than to be the guy to follow in someone's footsteps.

I think we both agree you're looking after a talented SF

Yes a good SF is one missing piece of the puzzle, some bench depth is another thing. I almost had my perfect SF last season when Alpha Dianor was on sale, but a Turkish manager bought him for 1M more than his value.
The truth is: I never had 8M on my bank to buy such a player like Haesaert or Gaethofs. I build my team slowly and steady by training. The only thing I regret is selling my previous generation of trainees players when they had already lost much of their value. That could have made a big difference financially now for me.

So once again, I'll have to use the meagre resources I have to reach my goal and even if I find the right pieces I'm aware it could still not be enough, because the team Mizu is creating looks really scary too for the upcoming seasons.
