Saturday Night Summer Slam

Kicking off the last 3rd of Season almost 69, and summer, we have a budding rivalry. These 2 growing teams are on similar paths, from what I can gather. Both these managers are builders, working the fundamentals and the Xs and Os. Buckner Bandits guards are the envy of the league. Mike Hunt, the sniper and Greyson Tobin, the point forward averaging nearly 8 dimes, a game. Not bad for a rookie, looking forward to 1 day going to Naismith Memorial Basketball HoF.

The Vatican Vipers are coming in with a defense that is giving up just 75 ppg. Lead by Karol "Krackdaddy" Krakowiecki's 15 RPG, 1 STPG, and 1 BLKPG. This game is gonna be decided on the perimeter, who's guards are gonna lead them to lead of the Great 8? Will the Vipers get snake bite, by the Kiss of Death prediction?

@Wahooptie: IDK if it's a murder, but to me, it felt like a close game—especially since you took it easy on me. This game was an eye opener for me not to push for Div 3. And I prefer to see my bois' stats pop

@DoubleR: I can still issue a scrimmage but this is just for training minutes now😂 Only if you're up for it

A Chalk Tuesday night.

I got all excited when I saw the Buckner Bandits were hosting the MKE Bucks. Then I realized he sold off all his players. And well this matchup lost all its luster. Buckners in a Walk Over.

Then there is the Berlin Lawnflamingos taking on the Wahoo Warriors. And well, on paper, it looks interesting, but the Wahoo's are gearing up for 1st round playoff game, against the Bandits or the Vipers.

Good Luck everyone, maybe Saturday we'll get a spicier write up.

2. Vatican Vipers (15-2) Gonna might be difficult to lose the top spot in the Great 8

3. After Shocks (15-2) Hackers sold off a solid piece of their team. Can they capitalize?

4. Buckner Bandits (13-4) always in the thick of it.

5. Berlin Lawnflamingos (13-4) Return to the top 5, after owning the Warriors, this season.

6. Wahoo Warriors (11-6) had and unfortunate week.

The Tie-Breaking Main Event

Things about to go down, Saturday night. Almost half the league games, feature teams with the same records.

Rumor has that there are some Lawnflamingo Bandits on the lose. Berlin might is going to have to secure those plastic birds, if they want them to remain in Berlin.

Berlin Lawnflamingos by 3, o/u 200

Finally, the battle for leader of the Big 8, After Shocks travel to Saith Park. Looking to rough up, 500 Hackers. 1 Thing about the Hackers, their 1-3-1 defense, might just be the envy of the league. They run the most obscure defense, and shut people down. But will the release of Will Partridge, catch up with them? We do know both captains are going for it.

500 Hackers by 12, o/u 176

4 Games remaining.

The Big 8, is virtually locked for the playoffs. Even IF the 500 Hackers, fall asleep and lose a game, they'll be the 1 seed. After Shocks locked up at least a 2 seed. The Orlando Tragic and R3AP3RS are in the playoffs, both are in the 3/4 slots.

MEAN while, over in the POWER 8, I'm sorry the Great 8. (I love the sound of Power 8) The Vatican Vipers are the only 1 to clinch a playoff spot. Only the bots are officially eliminated. There is still a lot of basketball left to be decided.

Tonight we have the Vatican Vipers trying to excuse the Wahoo Warriors, from their playoffs. The Warriors, sport something Im not familiar with, 2 players tied leading the league in PPG. WoW (party). Its gonna be a tough game for the Vatican Defense.
