I think you just suck so it's a good idea for you to just save your money, and train your players.

12-22-12 Games Predictions:

Dawgs @ Tsunami:
This should be a great game! The Dawgs really surprised me when they beat Delpra and my gut says I may be surprised again here. With that said, I’m interested to see how the pressing D of Tsunami affects the Dawgs. I visualize 3 teams (Dawgs/Tsunami/Delpra) competing for two playoff spots (the 3rd & 4th seeds) in the Great 8 so this is sort of a proving game in my eyes. If the Dawgs win this they will have a serious leg up on making the playoffs having beaten both of their potential rivals for a playoff birth. Dawgs look to be making some roster adjustments but I’m going out on a limb here and picking them to win despite the potential roster flux: Dawgs win a close one by 4-9.

Closet Men @ Shipbuilders:
In case you ever wondered about the origins of the team name, The Closet Men are named such because the team is literally hiding in the closet because they are ashamed; ashamed of the fact that they spent more per week on staff than Maine did on Katzav’s salary!!!! In all seriousness, Congrats to AI for the sudden epiphany as to the tam’s situation and best of luck in remedying it and in the relegation series they will, no doubt, play in this post season. In other news, Main apparently acquired Katzav for much under market value and is looking to profit by immediately flipping him to another team; however, no deal will be reached before Saturday’s games so expect a career game from Katzav as he clobbers the Closet Men. Shipbuilders win by blowout.

No Love @ M12:
No Love is coming off a huge victory in the cup and the momentum from that is going to propel them to an easy victory in this game. With a lucky draw to what looks like an easy next cup match they should have no issues with minute management so I expect to see Kellley and Kolar at full strength and eager to continue their winning ways. No Love win by 22.

Hate @ Krushers:
Team Hate is on the verge of a League Intervention. Their GM is MIA and they have fallen into a rut of predictability, their players are exhausted from the RnG style and lack of correct minute management, and their defense is utterly dismal (worst in the league in opp ppg in fact). With the Krushers patient offense and Hate’s dismal defense and the fact that those already exhausted Haters are going to have to travel into enemy territory and knowing Krusher’s management is ore than capable of adjusting and developing an effective game plan, I fully expect to see a Krusher victory. Krushers by 12.

12-22-12 Games Predictions Continued:

Delpra @ Winnerrrs:
Am I the only one that sees a future false advertisement lawsuit in the making with this franchise? Their GM is a greenhorn so I’ll give it time, but I swear if this franchise continues selling tickets to a “winners” game where fans are “treated” to a losing performance I’m sending my entire litigation team down to the league office with my complaint! The Winnerrrs will NOT be the winning team. Delpra blows them out.

Ballers @ Hunterz:
In one of those moments where he lives up to the name, that Crazy Hunterz GM has ordered his coach to experiment with a motion offense against the Ballers Saturday. What’s more, Crazy personally contacted Ron (Ballers GM) and shared the fact. Baffling to say the least. The Ballers know exactly what to expect tonight but will it be enough? Ballers use their pregame information well and keep it close for 3 quarters but the Hunterz will eventually pull away and win by 14.

Storm @ Bastards:
The Storm have one of the strongest defenses in the league up to this point in the season allowing only 78 ppg for their opponents. As such, I feel they will easily halt the Bastards offense as well as utilize their generally slow and patient offense to pick the Bastards defense apart. Rubio is back for the Bastards so Im interested to see how he and Grubb work together, especially considering Estivill is on a pretty good streak and they will need to shut him down to keep this one close. I have to say Storm by 12.

Miu @ EBW
:
Word is EBW has a tough cup match this week and will play their 2nd string in a league game to save their stars for the cup. If I had to guess, I’d say they’ll run that lineup in this game rather than against M12 on Tuesday. Of course, I could be wrong but I expect to see some stars held out of this one but I still expect EBW to win. They have systematically picked apart every team so far and they have a pretty deep team so they shouldn’t have trouble pulling out a win despite sitting their key players. EBW’s bench wins a nail biter by 4.

Since we dont have this edition of the Stud/Duds I wanted to post a little something to hold us over.
The Crazy Kudos Awards! Awarded to one player from each game.

Big Dawg’s Center A. Signorotto was the only player with a double double in the match and really made an impact as he grabbed 16 boards (7 offensive), swatted 2 shots, made the extra pass for 5 assists, put up 11 points, and held his opposition to 2-7 from the field. Kudos Signorotto.

Maine Shipbuilder’s ROOKIE I. Alfaro put up this week’s best performance in my book with a rare Triple Double. He scored 15 points, racked up 10 assists, pulled down an amazing 20 rebounds, and played hard on defense with 1 steal and 2 blocks. Major Kudos Sir.

It may have been in a losing cause but No Love’s Z. Kolar did all he could. He went 75% from the field to score 18 points, made his teammates look good as he assisted 13 buckets, and on defense he snagged 3 boards and pickpocketed his opponent twice! Kudos for never saying die.

This was a tough one to decide on but Krusher’s K. Siu Chung gets the award for a massive 35 point performance; he scored half as many points as the entire other team. He also managed 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Kudos for having enough offense to crush the opponent.

Delpra’s F. De Fazio went 6-9 scoring 16 points while also grabbing 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and not a single turnover. Kudos for keeping a handle on that ball!

The Hunterz can be proud of A. Cobian for his all-around performance. He put up 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and stole the ball three times in only 30 minutes of play! Kudos for keeping that motor going on offense and defense every single minute on the court.

Called this one pre-game; M. Estivill had a killer game scoring 43 points. His aggressiveness paid off as he made it to the charity strip TWENTY times and transformed 15 of those attempts into points. He also claims 3 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and two blocks. Kudos for a dominant performance.

EBW’s J. Gonzalez carried the team. He went 14-19 from the field for a game high 29 points, pulled down 12 rebounds, and managed 3 assists, steals, and blocks. Kudos for stepping up when needed.
