I'm quite new to the game but I've had some experience with hattrick. Currently I've started training one on one for the whole team with the players I've got from signing up. Any advice or comparable figures out there?

Sometimes I think, sometimes I don't

Is it only me but shouldnt we be able to train Outside shooting/jumpshot on SG/SF or at least PG/SG/SF?

On my 1st stamina training with a level 1 trainer I got 12 pops for 15 players. I think we can assume that stamina training doesn't depend on the trainer quality.

Is that the same for free shots?

I've started one on one team training this week and I will let you know how things work out for me. I have a level nine trainer and all my players are the original team I got allocated.

Sometimes I think, sometimes I don't

Ive actually read thru the thread again so Im excused and can ask a question.. ;)

Shouldnt shotblock also be related to outside defence? I know this isnt a "real" basketball game but still.. Id rather have my guards trying to get in the face of a shooter than not.. does anyone know if shotblocking does anything for an outside player?

Im also still wondering why you cant train jump shot or outside scoring for SG/SF or PG/SG/SF?

advTHXance

I have no real knowledge of the game engine, but I do have a PG (747289) with respectable Shot Blocking. He also has awful Outside Defense, and pitiful Inside Defense, but you can see from his stats that he is averaging 1.7 blocks per game (14 blocks in 8 games). Not too shabby for a guy that's only 5'11" (178cm).

Has anyone here experience in training outside-scoring?!

I trained it so many weeks for SGs and just got a few pops. There were three weeks of training in a row without any pop, so i'm really disappointed.

I had 2 lvl-ups in Jump Range in my first Week of Training. Seems i had a little luck.

But i cant imagine that my players also improve Driving, when i train "outside shooting". Is that sure that they do ?

Jump shot, Jump Range, ok, but i think that perhaps passing or handling would be fitting better to this kind of training, or Outside Defense. Anyone wtih some experience with this kind of Training (for PG/SG)?

Actually driving makes more sense than either passing or handling.

When your outside shot improves the defense has to play you tighter making it easier to drive, thus your driving improves. However your court vision for passing or your ability to handle the ball would not be similarly effected...and it certainly would not help your defense in the least.
