I knew I had little chance to win in Dart's house, but i felt i really had to play all or nothing with Penko probably being back before the weekend. Even my chances were small, i felt i had to take it.
But now, after yesterday's game and the loss, there is little doubt who will win the BBBL championship this season ofcourse. Now my chances are basically reduced to zero.
But to our fans at home, i will tell you this. We are the EAGLES, and we still have our pride ! So our fans can bet on it, we will go all out to win our home game on saturday. I still have my honor, so even if it leaves me without any chances for sunday, we will give everything to win our home game, we will not go out without a victory in the finals ! We have our home reputation to defend, which is very important to me. I know now I can't win at Dart's house, which was proven by his convincing win yesterday.

I got my C back, Penko recovered from his injury sooner than expected (at least I'm paying not my doctor a fuckton of money for nothing), however with his game shape he's probably more a liability than an asset. When I see that his DMI is lower than Vargas' :/

I really gave it much thought, but in the end I decided to spare all forces for a final game. Throwing all my forces into an away game might not have been the wisest move.

Congratulation on the title, enjoy the moment because next season everyone will be extra motivated to defeat you
Bravo to Eagles as well, they made a perfect run in the second half of the championship and got so close... But maybe next season?

PS: I would love to learn what happened in div II.2!

I didn't stand a chance anyway, so i'm not disappointed, only frustrated for the things leading up to these finals...

Congratz Dart, you deserve it.

Huge congrats to Darteb for his season!!!

If you can win the finals with the starting C injured, it is well deserved.
I hope from now on, all seasons can be this thrilling.
Also best of luck to both teams in B3, make us proud :)


Also a quick note about my season: I won 1 single game, and it held AmenRa from the POs (thank god he didn't relegate).

What a joy, what an achievement. That was a very difficult season, and it concludes in the best possible way. I salute Eagles for this really thrilling season that made us hold our breath for so long. These final league games were a real thriller.

About the tonight's final there is little to say, Eagles had to gamble on a tactic, I chose the opposite one and therefore the game ended quickly. That's all very "scissors, paper, rock".

As for my team, it's a regular BBBL since season 23, and 23 (!) seasons later I can at last enjoy a league title, aftre failing the first two times. But then again, I didn't have HCA back then, and this once again highlights how important this is when gambling for a final win.

I also want to apologise for sometimes writing some nasty stuff on that forum. I'm a kind of "hot" guy and don't cool before reacting, I very often regret it afterwards . I'm not a "bad" guy but I really can sound like one sometimes. Sorry.

What will now happen for the Spartans ? Well, first of all even if I'm delighted with the title, this was completely a one-shot. The truth is that I'm completely broke, so I'll have to let several expensive players leave the team, and attempt surviving the BBBL with a roster that'll be way less expensive than the current one.

So if you wanted to support the Spartans in the B3, it's maybe not your best bet :p

But new challenges only start with the new season, and I'll fully enjoy the remaining of this one !
