Someone criticised the ABBL for not having any candidates but I must point out that there are a LOT of ABBL managers training Aussie talent for either the U21 team of the senior team. Probably 2/3 of the ABBL actually. I would suggest that is higher than any other league out of the 85 in Australia. Naturally we have the financial resources to do it. But training and playing in the ABBL isn't always so easy but out of the Great 8 Slam ! is the only team without an Aussie they are training or looking after.

I also have three other guys who tried out for the U21 team: Barton who missed and Kumar who missed but both would make it this season I suspect. I had hoped for them to make the Aussie NT but in the many seasons since I got them the quality of the team has gone up and up and so only if they had very high sublevels of superstar potential would they have a chance. Barton has capped so he doesn't, Kumar is still unknown. I also picked up Dexter last season who just made the Aussie U21 team briefly.

Barton Melmeth (16765388) Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 90 720
Age: 26
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: superstar

Diptavrna Kumar (19609870) Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 65 482
Age: 24
Height: 6'2" / 188 cm
Potential: superstar

Dexter Leadbeater (22817866) Point Guard
Weekly salary: $ 30 650
Age: 22
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: superstar

I am certainly not short of Aussie PG trainees!

Is there to be no more discussion about our U21 NT and this election? Maybe someone has a few more questions for all of us candidates to answer?

If not, I would like to say this:

I have enjoyed everyones support for our U21 team. It is good to see a lot of people taking an interest. Hopefully we can get even more people involved in some way. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this debate. Win or lose, I plan and hope to be very much involved in our U21 team for the upcoming seasons and will put all my effort into trying to make Australia stronger, have more consistency with our success (that is sure to happen with our proposed changed management strategies) and as a whole continue to make this community one of the best in the world!

Goodluck to all candidates

Honestly I would say Moisis Iliakis is closed to capped out, so he won't be able to improve much.

Without seeing the skills of the other trainees it's difficult to say what they need other than standard big man rotations with secondaries.

If I was to win I'd bring all the sexy players back into the team. And aim for semi this season as realistic goal
