how dare someone try something different. there's a team in USA, beware of dogs, that is trying the no reb build. interesting experiment. they were in II, down in III now but look to be bouncing back up.

How effective would a player be who had high levels of shot blocking but average/low levels of inside defense? Would this player be able to defend players with high inside shooting?

Nobody (but BB) has the answer to that question.
This kind of player do not exist in BB. All we can do is speculate.

If I go by logic, I'd say this player would try to block or alter a lot of shots, but because of worse inside defense he'd make a lot of fouls. That's probably not the case in BB, so let's wait and see if anyone makes any tests...
