It was the developers who said it didn't work for the game.
I think that your suggestion is a a good one. I don't know about implementation ( not only is that not at all my responsibility but I have no clue about web design etc.) but I like the idea.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

But they explain why it doesn't work, and wasn't a problem of algorithms ;D
However,do you think you can explain my idea to the developers?

I started reading this thread and all it's posts, and stopped when oueftete spilled his coffe on the screen.

It's not only sad to read it all, this thread shouldn't have been here in the first place.

When the new ads system came up, all threads in all places that served as ads threads for the things that went in the ads system should have been deleted. Seemingly that didn't happen. Which ignited a spark for the discussion. In the end I realy can't understand a discussion about a thing as simple as this. If the threads didn't get closed right away, they should be once this is noticed, and there is no way a discution should start about it, as most countries did what was asked right away, wheter they liked it or not.

To me, it all has to do with respect.

Respect, not just to the BBs, but to everyone in this game, especially outside own borders, but also within...

I'd be happy to read more constructive talk to get something in place that BB-users would like, and would practically be possible. But I hope not to have to read 1 single more post that is talking (nagging, pleading or demanding) about re-opening ads-threads ANYwhere on this site.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

If everything its allowed, then I guess no one would be interested in reading the forum, it will be used only 1 minute to copy paste the info and send the message.

the only reason I didn't was because it could serve as a way to find a solution that could be appreciated by everyone. Instead of using this opportunity, some seemed it more important to use it for other pruposes. So that's why I said I hope to not see that specific kind of posts in here anymore...

So.... After closing ads/scrimmage thread... we have to close in Italy more than 10 thread for scrimmage and ads requests... so... I don't know if it help moderators and GMs... anyway...

After many proposals have you thought about a "solution"? Scrimmage.... honestly, is not the real problem, but helps everyone on searching for a scrimmage (the double menu "lefty + pop" don't help, IMHO, mainly newbies). The most interesting thread was ads, because sometimes it helps to understand the market.

The idea of creating a section for ads and scrimmage split by macro areas (Continents? Main Languages?) could be a good thing.

Another usefull thread closed... I think we should change forum to have a usefull one, if any interesting game thread could be closed.

"logo request thread"

"official fed thread"

"private League thread"

(sticky threads!) Are these threads more usefull than scrimmage/ads/valuation?

I think even more threads deserve to be closed. Italy is a mess: too much users write in the forums, and most set out their free ideas; there's too activity, and every day hundreds posts are sent. bleah

To avoid this unpleasant situation, I advise to sticky a thread in which explain just which topics are allowed, instead of the ones that are forbidden, because it's clear that it's easier to show what is possible to talk about (just 3/4 subjects) than write all the topics forbidden.

Another suggestion is affording to create a new topic only to those users which ask the authorization to a GM. who breaks with this simple rule deserves to be ban from the game. I think the perfect GM proper for this "authorization-releaser role" should come from Bulgaria, as I see he makes us to mantain law and order, even if nobody asks him to do that.

ps: Transfer Price Estimate works perfectly. thank you, it lets me know the value of all my players, with no exceptions.

Yeah, it works perfectly for me too, except for 9 out of my 10 players, which have no estimated transfer price, and haven't had one for months.

Really a fine tool.
