i got to say:

Sum, thx for retaking Marichal. take good care of him. i invested a lot in that player and went down to II to futher his and J-J's training. So you better make sure he's in good GS.

As for Fleeton, it's a shame that the change in the GE occures when i'll be forced to retire Fleeton from the NT. He was Belgiums best C ever, nobody could match him and he was instrumental in my 3rd NT season where Belgium went 7-0 in the qualifier (beating the likes of Portugal and Slovenko, good old day's :D)

But thanks to this, i'm going to be able to rebuild my team. It's just that i really didn't want to part with Marichal. i still can't believe that i'm going down again, despite having won 10 games!

i'm joining Ventola as the only team to have won double digit amount of games, yet despite that, being relegated directy to II. Worst part is, when it counted the most and with GS training, both my opponents that week had better GS ( the week when i faced the Spartans and RC, in which i went 0-2). That was where i lost my spot in the BBBL.

and despite direct regulation, i'm in the 5th drafting position. Talk about things being unfair...

Anyhow, nothing i can do about it. there were 7 managers in my division who did a better job than me, and all i can hope for is that someday i'll return to the BBBL. Tho i'm unsure if i still have the fight to do so. truth be told, the fact i'm 8th isn't only because there were 7 better managers, but because i've been lacking time this season. I can no longer combine GM and NT duties, while aspiring to have high ambitions for the BBBL. So come season 25, i won't be around for the election, but i know of a worthy candidate who will, and his name doesn't start with a J!

I seriously need some time off. and come season 25, i'm going to enjoy having a slightely more quiet mailbox. atleast the mails concerning spanish/italian/portugees/polish managers who are offering 20 to 30k star potential players, won't be for my mailbox anymore :D

Next season i either rediscover my passion for BB, or i'm going to start moving towards a BB exit in it's whole. i consumes to much time if you want to be competitive :P or atleast, i don't have the time with my bussy schedule :D

Finishing last with 10 wins is painful indeed.

Parting with Marichal must have been equally hard, although you can be more than satisfied with 3 M for him. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money or I would have been interested. Hopefully, sum will take care of him :)

About the week you're talking about, I still honestly think that playing normal at mine was a mistake, considering I stll had cup games to maintain a high enough TS, but perhaps it wouldn't have changed much.

However, good luck in rebuilding your team and for your future projects. I think D.2 is one of the best places to train player to a great level, something I haven't properly done back then.

We will certainly keep in touch anyway !

Cheers,

I don't want to leave but i would have preferred playing Bavi... Our starting 5 are not that different. I would even say that the difference comes more from our benchs
And if you would have preferred playing Spartans i defenitly would have prefered playing Bavi.

Play-offs day 1 :

In the BBBL, there wasn't much of a surprise, with all home teams winning their game. In the blue conference both Amenra and boes managed to do so while saving their TS, and will face each other in the conference final.

So will Cowboys and Mizu Arlon in the red one. If the cowboys had a walk in the park facing a TS-depleted Spartans team, the things were much more tense at Arlon. The home team took risks by only fielding 5 players, denying them a possible replacement in case of foulplay or injury. Things went into OT, but they finally prevailed. Arlon, still plagued by Asli's injury, are almost playing without a bench since the departure og estonian PG Kruusamaë.

For the play-downs, bavi scores a first win against FTA with superior enthusiasm, while Canin race to an easy win against the Dragons who kept their best players, as well as sufficient TS, in reserve. Things are far from being over yet !

In the lower divisions, there's not much to tell about. Favourites won their first play-off game with ease, with the notable exception of BC Meirke in II.3. Despite cruising to an impressive display if 21 - 1 over the regular season, they lost the semi to a surprising Star Fly team. Promotion in II.3 then remains wide open, with Insane Hangtime as new favourites, if they can get past RSC Eagles, a team that was extremely active on the transfer window just before the play-off start.

Did someone know how it works with the payment of salaries ? For example, if we go for a game 3 in the PD, would we pay a entire additional salary for next week while a win in two games affored to pay only one week salary ?
