He's playing patient with Polatkan as C. He's of course a SG ; the idea being patient is the following : a slow-paced tactic aiming to take time to find the best available shoot.
Usually speaking, the best available shooter is an outside player being defended upon by a center, as he's more likely to be able to take a poorly-defended shoot. Thus, 53 points. The ratings only indicate how well he performed on his inside duties, and the boxscore isn't taken into account when the game delivers a match rating.
Buston used the same tactics in his B3 game against Folgado e.g. :

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/72594487/boxscore.aspxYou have to make sure the out-of-position player is the best available mismatch however, or that can backfire spectacularly :
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/98450279/boxscore.aspx In that game, my subs SF took the shoots because his relative opponent (Delombaerde) was weaker than Gaethofs', thus he ended taking the shots with ... relative success. Of course I am aware that my defence was so weak in that game that I couldn't have won no matter what, but if Gaethofs had taken the shots I might have closed the gap a little.
Glad to see Mizu and Buston in B3 next season, I think they will be the best 2 belgian teams available, and wish them the best available run !
And for eveyone, a happy new year 2018 !
