You love it if you are the 5 seed, because it adds some extra money. But you are right, as a 7 seed you are hopeless in most leagues. Unless they have some crazy injuries or something.

I am in Full agreement the top 4 in the blue is locked and loaded and just jocking for position for home court advantage and the best opportunity to get to the final and see could happen! There's always the BIG I-word that could alter a teams path completely.

But with 7 games left there is lots of collisions and big games coming up. It's one of the few seasons where you could say on the blue side each game is a critical game. Lets NOT sleep on the fact that quietly Donner has put together a pretty decent resume for an 8 seed 5 win team.. Beat Baker, Rhino, Space Von, Sparta and the other 8 seed. AND Donner has positioned himself 1 game out of the 6 seed! yes the 6 seed! Now of course Point Dif is a HUGE disadvantage because any tie Donner has no chance... but if any of the teams 5-7 have a couple slip ups or find themselves dropping 2-3 games in a row if donner can put together a 3-4 record in the last 7 games things will get REAL interesting!

All matchups on Saturday are a top 4 vs a bottom 4 team. No upsets would widen that gap.

Dont put that kind of pressure on my players... lol we are coming off of a multiple game losing streak and that includes a loss to the #7 seed on the other side. So i dont know. what i do know is that defenseless on paper is extremely scary. one of the most balanced teams not only on the blue side, but in our league! the bucs have a huge uphill battle.

Well i must say to those that felt like i had a chacne to break into the top 4... I really appreciate it!!!! but after today's loss i've officially been knocked out of the playoff running. Now i go into either league survival mode or have to look at rebuild and relegation mode. I'm in a hard position with talented players ranging between 24-28. the age where training slows the most and the skills are what they are. Clearly this season has proven that those skills aren't enough. I also find myself with an aging super star. This star still affects the league but clearly isn't and has never been enough or with enough help to obtain the true goal of promoting once.

Well as i look at the league only by a miracle will i find myself back in III.7 at the end of this season.
