Haha sorry, way too hard to pick sarcasm on the internet sometimes. Someone really needs to invent some sort of
[sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags one day

I've never been a massive fan of one on one. I use short bursts occasionally but i personally prefer a combination of handling, passing, pressure, and outside shooting training all single position. I think i have done maybe 2-3 weeks of one on one training in the last 3 seasons combined and that is usually when i have stuffed up my minutes .I have had a good run with Mikey Bergman in taking him to the fringe of the USA NT at age 22. All his guards skills are over tremendous with the exception of passing thanks to this type of training.

If you want to post all your player stats and let me and a few other guys take a good look and make some more educated observations feel free to go on the offsite forum and use the help thread there.

im going to give you all some short lectures on how to play this game

since a lot of you guys have read a lot about how to do this when starting playing or to those newly sign up managers.

but lets go further more on how to build your team, its basic that you assess you team and work on them for starters but in order to make your team stronger it doesnt have to be always about training.

yes i mean how to look at players on the market.

basically the stats are important, so ill divide this into 2 parts

1) buying players for support or those you dont need or want to train.
- stats stats stats, dont look at the level of his skill sets. why? no all players are the same, if everyone knows there is a hidden characteristics each player has and it determines how he performs on his game. i have been playing this game for quite sometime and cross analysis with a lot of work done i can say that there ar players who for example has wondorus inside defense and another just tremendous inside defense and the one with tremendous inside defense performs better

how do we differentiate it, again look at the stats and assess, if that player is a chinese or lets say american check out what league is he in and also if you can compare or assess him if he goes to the australian league. can he perform better or will he just be another player in your bench since he cant perform at a high level as you expect him in games.

if you guys can analyze the GE youll notice that the most important thing is understanding the how the offense is played and th defense is set up in the GE. right now dont ask me because i barely made a crack to it unlike before. simply because im havent been really active and it takes a lot of time.

2) buying players you want to train
- its just me im looking at stats but most of you guys might be looking at the skill sets and what chances does a player have to improve. this are all ok its up to you since im sure one day you can sell the guy for a better price.

thats all for now tll next time

I disagree. Stats differ depending on the strength of the opposition. Skills are constant. I fail to see why there would be a hidden characteristic that would make some players perform constantly better then others with better skills. The strength of the opposition may make them perform better but that isn't hidden.

i also strongly disagree , the bb's have already stated that there is only one hidden skill known as physical skill - which controls player aggressiveness - which effects the likely hood of him fouling players - players fouling him - getting or giving out injuries.

the difference in def you are probably noticing most likely comes from the different levels of help defense in given teams , a sensational defender will get more help from help defense then a wonderous defender , this could make the lower defender seem better.

it is also rumored there is sub levels of game shape so while the 2 defenders may look to be in the same level of game shape the lower defender may of in fact been higher.

there is far to much information to come to such a statement .

Haha shoei has some "different" views on how the game works sometimes. I think instead of starting the post with:

im going to give you all some short lectures on how to play this game

He should have said something like "these are some thoughts that i've come up with myself and how i usually scout when i'm active" ;)
