I think there is a consensus that big men are what are keeping us from REALLY competing with the best teams in the world, but I have another question. Given that we only really have one true NT-caliber SF in the entire USA, what are your feelings regarding the position? Do you prefer all-around SFs? Prefer to play guards/bigs there depending on tactics?

To all the candidates: If you had 110 skill points to assign to a player (excluding free throw and stamina), how would you allocate them to best suit our team’s needs?

Boy, lots of directions to go here...Here is where one of my trainees is heading:

JS: 15 JR 8
OD: 20 HA 15
DR: 15 PA 15
IS: 9 ID 5
RB: 3 SB 5

110 points. He's being groomed for my Look Inside attack that I run. Only 125K too, so very affordable.

The name you're looking for there is "Jamie Nix".

There MIGHT be a player... I am talking about there IS.
You can quickly learn about the team that you build. It is not that quick to gain new ideas to put our team above and beyond. The new ideas can be argued that they are better because they are new and teams will not expect them and be vulnerable to them, but on the other side I see what you are saying about doing things that have not been tested can be very risky and sometimes people do not like to take risks. As I said earlier, Risk=Reward!

they heard you were there... thats what scared me

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

I personally like to have a SF that is an all-around SF, but has a little bit better guard skills, with good rebounding though.

While the rest of the answer is well said, you are missing my meaning. There is a player in our much-improved database site, now with plenty of helpful tools and a blog,http://bb-usa.host22.com that with a few pops can get to dominant level. Why should I vote for candidates like you ahead of candidates with a better knowledge of our system? Not to say you couldn't learn all this over a few weeks, but most people would hopefully want a manager that can win now.

I think I know who you are talking about. And I do not see how being a NT manager is a whole different world compared to being a regular manager.
