It was a very close game. I watched most of the game and the turning point was the start of the second quarter. My team coming out of the locker room playing some solid D and you guys just keep missing shots. Maybe it's luck. Your players should be more consistent and I have lots of respect to your PF, Spurio. He is very consistent during the whole season and have had one of the best game rating in our league. Lucky though for my team he got into foul trouble early and was sent off in the fourth quarter. TBH i feel very lucky walking home with a W.

Maybe I don't deserve to say this but i think Hippo you're a great manager in this game. You've manage to get a good squad that plays above their salary and with your lineup they have such good chemistry together that seems to play beyond their ability.

My plan was to spend the money I have to compete this season, if I lose in the playoffs then I will rest a season to rebuilt. I've made two big purchases near the end of the regular season just to have a shot at the title this year. It was close to the dead line so the price is much higher than the average. However it seems to have paid off.

I think sometimes you need to give up something enable to gain other stuff, the cost could be huge but you might get it back in equal values or even better. In this case I've chosen to take the risk.

Well Hippos you shouldn't give up on the game. You've got a good team and no matter what happens you should always stand back up on your feet.

I think you strategy has been spot on for your division. Do enough to finish top, then spend enough to have the edge on the hippos in the finals. The same strategy on the blue side would've meant spending a heap more $$$ on salaries during the season.

when you're talking about the blues and reds, things changed a bit ever since bainsy and hooks left the league last season. you might say overall the teams are better in the blues but with no contenders this season Hippos got 22-0 and have got a much easier semi-final game. sometimes you don't need 22-0 to stay on top in your conference and even top of the league. plus hippos is 22-0 with a 260k roster so the salary wouldnt hurt much. That's y I think hippos should have got the money to win it all again next season.

Top win by the hippos tonight. Smashed the secrets on the boards. However, used up some enthusiasm to get the win. Tune in for the decider on Tuesday. Will be hotly contested.
