i get dizzy and incoherent lost in the Funhouse world of your roster . . . normal people take an unskilled player at age 18 or 19 and see in them the vast improvement in skills that can happen in 10 seasons. many here are now facing up to the fact that the 28 year old eventually becomes a declining 34 year old who will be a burden to be shed or cigarette butt to be tossed.

but with your unequalled vision you see potential in that 34 year old: complete and utter worthlessness, where every single basketball skill has devolved to atrocious. From what i can tell, this state is indicated by a salary below $400, but this is spoken by a visitor not allowed into the Temple to actually see. Three players have already attained this level, and two more may join them in a season or two.

And i like your foresight in keeping this train to oblivion stocked with passengers, as those who already well on their way to Total Atrociousness have been picked up by your scouts. These can be identified with salaries of below $1000, but are probably still capable of playing a Lucky Fan to a draw.

Indeed, now that i understand your roster, i can share in your excitement you must have about that Utopian -- only 30, but already below $800 in salary! This still young but eventually old man could reach the exalted state of Total Worthlessness before he is 40! There are those among us who strongly believed this was impossible! I do hope he is not cursed with any skills in FT, for this will likely block his achievement of absolute worthlessness, and the faithful do not want to hear that.

and the sacrifices you make . . . never being able to train your team in stamina or FT . . . i commend your dedication to your vision.

Yeah it's a weird feeling. My Utopian team is also outside oriented, and it's a bit awkward at first to curse your players for not chucking more often.

I wonder if winning the 3pt shootout does anything for merch.

WOW, last night Tobe McCullough set an Arizona Desert Storm Franchise record with 53 points. Amazingly, that is only the 2nd player i have ever had score 50+ in a league game. One of my buddies once had a player nearly average 50 points a game for a season.

I have always actually kind of been proud of the fact that I don't get these crazy scoring outputs from my players because generally I have balanced teams. Of course, I have never built my guards to be scorers anyway, but still I have always preferred to have 2-3 guys flirt with 20 points and 6+ players with 10+.

That said, always fun to set new records.

To all the guys who have served in our Military, thank you!

My Utopia merch is eerily similar. Off by like 50 bucks for every week. Winning the 3pt shootout gave me a season high for merch, but it's still only like a 300 buck raise.

I'd guess that All-Star game/shootout doesn't have an effect on merch.

Just realized Eugene Register Guard and 10inch Vertical play each tonight AND on Saturday. Unfortunately for 10inch, he's away for both.

Yeah, it sucks. And while I'm whining, I would like to add that three road games in the same week sucks a big one too.

Well, you do get me at home in a TV game on Tuesday....that doesn't suck :-)

that's a first: in the Delta 9 Cup game, one of the Lucky Fans playing for the Buckeyes got hurt.

i think that injury was the difference in the game.

The rare Triple Lucky Fan plan of attack! It's a bold strategy.

In other news, none of the NBBA Cup games are exciting, including the two NBBA matchups. Boo.

The only good draw in the entire NBBA. You've gotta be salivating at this, you have a good shot at not drawing an NBBA team next round either.
