Green Machine @ Beanz Odyssey - 104-102

GM has more offensive versatility, but BO may have better GS at some game-breaking positions, more "known" (to me) players with standout secondaries, more depth, and HCA. Both have really mediocre GS and it will likely be the loser's downfall.

Quebec Pugs @ Lawrence Park Panthers - 111-108

Pugs have masked their proficiency with out-of-position training and such, while LPP's late bout of inactivity hurts his enthusiasm. I'll go LPP due to diversity and HCA and because he's always good for a surprise.

--

Laval Giants @ the ragin stajans - 97-88

Purely because I made a boo-boo in my final regular season game. I have 10 rotation players and played none of them that game, meaning I now need to dress 5 players in each of my remaining weekly games for a chance at getting them 48 weekly minutes. There's no doubt I'd win by a lot of points otherwise.

Moth Balls @ Headless Thompson Gunners - 104-90

Moth Balls are extremely formidable, but HTG is just too good. I genuinely think HTG would beat my top team and top effort if I made it to the semis.

Sadly Pugs would have been more formidable with a full strength Ferguson
both from an offensive and defensive standpoint
gotta hurt him

Nice review.

In regards to GS, man it is becoming freaking annoying!! Not sure why they cannot remove the random from it as in my opinion it really hurts the game. Why not just train GS like it seems all top teams do now? I played perfect minutes and had guys go from proficient to respectable, makes no sense and frankly could ruin the entire season for me.

The BB's need to fix some of the rubbish in this game before moving on to bigger issues.

lol, ok that's the end of my rant :)

Not end of rant
that was a continuation
and 100%

I trained GS last 2 weeks for the first time in 16 seasons
right after exactly the same thing happened to me
Come to the understanding there's no other way to make a run

On another note
Didn't help to lose my best big man 6 minutes in
in Utopia I lost, losing my best guard also 6 minutes in

Quite the day

Bleh, had an injury less than a minute in. Now, one of my top 6 players ranging from 156-199k salary will end up with 0 weekly minutes or the 6 players who have yet to play a minute for me this week (yeah, you read that right) will split ~40 weekly mins apiece. I think the former is best, but it's laughably bad either way.

Oh well, none of this costs me for tomorrow and don't matter at all if I lose. They do annoy me, though, and has made me want to use dreadful tactics for some reason.

---

Anyway, ouch to HTG for losing that big man for 2 weeks. I really hate injuries. Finals should still be plenty good, though.

Not a completely equal tradeoff but
being able to save enthusiasm and maybe even losing to you ;)
losing the big guy hopefully not completely the end of the world
would have hurt more to lose one of my top 2 guards
Still got some pop up front, just not depth now

Man that was a great game. I played it for a few seasons when it first went live and had a blast.

Is it still operational?
