Your message was about the prices of a team whose players are on sale. No surprise that it was deleted

Prices has definately dropped, or at least stopped rising. It is simple, new season will bring another salary increase, arena revenue is limited to 650k cca, so the best teams reached maximum income and have to keep eye on salary. Inside monsters will start to retire (finaly) and the game will keep developing the way it 'should'. It is natural and i like it.. Good job, finaly i can say it about any aspect of the game.. I would say now is the best time to keep cash or sell older players.

players are still being listed above what their skills are worth...

Of course players will be listed above what they are worth. That does not mean that they will sell for that price, though. My thoughts are more about sell prices.

I have noticed what you are talking about but this is not a new thing. Many people will continue to list their players for high prices, even after a market correction. They may not get the results that they want or they may catch an unsuspecting buyer who is not patient. That is the nature of the market.

On the other hand, if you watch the market and you consistently see a player with x skills sell for x dollars, then I would say that the player was not "listed above his worth".

So how do you know if the market has turned? One way is to watch the estimated transfer prices of your players. Not 100% accurate but if you see a drop on all your players (as I have) it points you in a certain direction. The other method is to shop the transfer market every day.

In any case, prices have dropped, at least for high level players. Whether this is just a blip because of the end of the season, I have no idea. I guess we will find out soon.

If u want keep this game fun for everyone not just for those started earlier you cant let the economy go to that dimensions.. It is simple. Manager fluctuation is natural so if you loose couple veteran players you need to replace the gap with the rookies, but if rookie see it d take him 20 seasons to get to the top he wont keep playin becose he has almost no motivation and if the game itself goes down in numbers its done.

what makes you say inside monsters will start to retire?

I do not think they will retire (especially if they are on an NT, it will be impossible), their transfer prices will simply drop to close to 0 and they will bounce around to a different team every 2-3 weeks.

Also, I would suggest not exagerrating the 1 million price tag too much. Let's say that next season such a player does exist. He will almost certainly be on an NT somewhere. So he will give his team a merch bonus for that. Plus, if he is playing in his home country, there is another merch bonus. Finally, if he is still on the team that drafted him, another merch bonus.

I do not have a fantastic feel as to how much these merch bonuses amount to, but I can tell you that they are proportional to salary. So a player with a 1 million salary could net somewhere between $100K-400K in merch revenue.
