Question for everybody in regards to how we want to handle the Spumante Pistons games.
I am going through on my day off and saving all of the game data from this season and I came up with an idea and needed the input of this league.
The Pistons did not go into sleep mode until we began Interleague play. My idea is to not include game data at all for any of the player rankings beyond the point where Interleague play begins for any game against the Pistons.
This will allow the Big 8 to make use of their early season games since they were active at that point. However, this will cause a slight imbalance in the rankings though it will be small enough to really have no impact.
The Big 8 will lose 7 games of stats for the second half of the season when Intraleague began while the Great 8 will lose all 8 of their games against the Pistons. Will this work for everyone? Will the Great 8 conference be okay with losing 1 more game than the Big 8 when it comes to the final rankings?
This has been my only idea so far. The Pistons have really fucked over the ranking system and caused me to take a step back and reanalyze my approach to this season.
