Judging by his salary, he's probably a triple sensational/tremendous. Although potential is a cap on all skills combined (some weighted higher, some lower) , the average salary soft cap for an all-star is 50-70k off the top of my head. If you had a perennial all-star, you'd be looking at a 100k salary next season (triple wondrous/marvelous).

One of the main challenges presented to managers in this game is to create a competitive basketball team while also balancing your finances. The developers of the game do not wish to make it so that very manager can have great players, top coaches, and sold-out arenas. They have stated time and again that there are many paths to success, but they are neither going to tell you how to get there nor make it a cookie-cutter formula. You have to make choices. You can field a staff that makes less than $13000/wk total (for all three members combined.) It is your choice. You can have expensive staff and cheap players. You can have cheap players and expensive staff. You can have a mix of the two. I have a mix, leaning toward cheap staff.

As for your specific situation, you have the highest salary in your league. You could sell your one big salary player and replace him with two players with a combined salary of half what he makes who would make your team better, if you do it right. Your top four largest salaries are all centers, while your guards make $5k at most. You could cut your team salary by 25k and have a better team, in my opinion.

Also, you lowered your ticket prices, but might have overshot on the bleachers. Try $12 at the next salary update. Just my opinion.

There are all kinds of threads regarding potential and salary correlation. There is a wealth of information on the forums on a variety of subjects. An excellent place to start is this thread- (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...).

I understand the appeal of keeping a guy you have worked hard to train. So that leaves you with the option of lowering your staff salaries.
Good luck!

You can't win with 2 positions (you have C and PF). Concentrating on one player will be your downfall, the faster you acknowledge that the better.
There is staff maximum salary, so if you get to that it will not raise any more (if the staff weekly raise bothers you). There is a but though, that max is really high and not even close to sustainable :D

I do not know. I guess noone ever wanted to find out. One of the BB-s stated that in the forums a while ago, I have it written in my supersmart BB notes. It's prolly not too easy to pinpoint it in the forums any more.

Just so you know, I was in serious debts last season, I sold one of the best players in my league, probably a top 10 player (Fritelli). I've worked so hard on Parker, I'm not going to lose him.

Here's Parker's best skills:

Inside Shot: tremendous Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: proficient

I understand how you feel because I'm in this situation, too. I'm training big men and my star Mytkowski is already at 91k and probably pushing 100k, but I've stopped training inside skills, so his salary won't increase as much. At this time, I'm training his outside skills to make him at least a beast at the power forward position against other PFs who lack outside defense. This also lets you train guards since you're already training outside skills for your star player to help you round out and balance your roster.
