Deadlynoob, I would win a game, just to make sure you don't drop (you're tied for 7th/8th at 1-13). 85% sure still means 15% unsure. The season I spent in Div III I was intentionally tanking to get a good draft pick and thought there would be a playoff to stay up (in which I could just play my best line up and win etc etc etc.). Obviously, since I'm in your league, good old IV.9, that didn't work out. There are a couple managers in our league who are looking to promote next season - I would not think your promotion is guaranteed if they all stay active. The ease with which people promote out of a IVth Division is typically due to it being all bots.

Oh, and I doubt you'll get BOTH of those guys. I'd be thrilled if whoever you don't pick drops down to me!

As an aside, I quite like this new draft system, although I would encourage people not to post ages and heights of the players they have scouted - it kind of gives things away...

Not a 100%, but I'd say around 85%.

As long as there is still space for them in division I-IV, they will go back up. This is how it works:

-team demotes into division V either automatically or because they lost their relegation series.
-the bot clean-up comes along after this. If there is space for them in the higher divisions, they will go back up.

chances are it will still be div4 but just a different league (since div4 still has plenty of space)

pretty much just repeating what ur saying: demote to div5, bot clean-up, promote to div4

Turns out this guy got the player that he wanted, and then promptly went inactive. I wonder if he will be worth saving...

Yes you did.

(16415827) (6'9", $5k salary, MVP potential)

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/645/draftSummary.aspx - Pick 1, preference 1. He was the first pick off your list and went second overall.

Train him. He can't be any good unless you actually use him.

For goodness sakes man, either play him or sell him. If you sell him you should at least be looking at getting a few million for him given his potential. Currently you are just wasting him.

I think he has already been wasted. He's not going to be much better than any 19 year old's drafted in this season's draft. You might as well sell him and see if you can get someone to buy him. He won't be playing for Canada's U21 team anyways...
