you guys are cry babies...i don't know the exact formula but i do know that if u win you are in...and if you are 2nd or 3rd you have to hope there is enough bots in IV to get you in there...It's kinda like college football (if you play in a good conference) if you go undefeated you will play in the championship game...but if you have 1 or 2 losses its up to a computer to help u out.

And why is this a problem? If over multiple seasons you repeatedly can't manage to win either the playoffs or your own division's regular season, do you really deserve to promote? (The idea that d.IV is somehow chock-full of bots is outdated.)


The issue is he was misleading people by saying the best records get promoted first. As I corrected, that is not always the case.

There is too much bad information given out in the forums that even small errors need to be corrected as soon as possible, lest they become accepted as gospel.



The part that is true is the teams with the best records have a chance to be promoted during bot clean up even if they went out in quarter finals.
