Prizzle...I think we could work together (maybe even get more people involved) and release some kind of BB-USA press release every week...if someone who has some skill with design would volunteer (could put something nice-looking together with minimal effort), I would be happy to function as an editor of sorts (majored in English in Uni) and look over articles/write some of my own...we could get some people to write up NT games, strategy articles, training articles, look-ins on prominent teams, interviews with succesful managers...could be a lot of fun.

Alternatively, Prizzle and I can just write up game reports and post them too...but I wouldn't be opposed to being part of something bigger.

I think a BB USA press release would be very interesting, and I would be fine with working with others. The more that sign up for it the more information we could try to involve. I can't really help with the formatting, as I am very poor in those, but it would be fine with me to use some type of format, and would probably help the press release idea.

So yeah it would just depend on whatever yall would want to do, either option sounds find to me, just whichever one we can get together in place.

Hey southpaw, I'd definitely agree that for someone in your situation, getting involved in opposition scouting might be the most useful role. Helping scout our next opponents, figuring out what they do well/poorly, how best to attack them, etc, is probably to most transferable skill one can take from being involved in the NT, since it's pretty similar to how you'd want to plan for league matches. Of course, the levels of skills are different, but I don't think that makes much of a difference--teams still have their relative strengths and weaknesses, and finding those and figuring out how best to exploit them is pretty valuable.

As for the offsite, there's a thread pinned to the top of the bb-usa forum (NT news & info, this one, I think: (136866.1)) with instructions on getting to it and creating an account.

Thanks for all the interest! Here's what I've got so far:

Reporters: BFiddy & PrizzlePulse. I've got some ideas, but I like what you guys have already mentioned, so I'll let you two spearhead this. I think game reports, occasional standings/around the world NT updates, etc would be great in making it easier for more people to follow the NT.

Domestic scouts: oriolekid, mizzou28

Foreign scouts: jfriske

Opposition scouting: southpaw17, jfarb001

TBD: darkjester11, rambovt, sherlock, fatcurry

For those that didn't specify, or those that haven't responded yet but are interested, I think the domestic scouting and opposition scouting positions are where we could really still use a few more people. For the domestic scouts, I think it makes sense to break it up by position, so, someone for guards, someone for forwards, someone for centers.

If I've forgotten someone, *please* let me know. Also, I think everyone here has an offsite account, so I'll probably move this over there. But, let me know if you still need an account.
